Pune has a Gliding center at Hadapsar. This Gliding center is operated by GDCA.
With due permission PAA is started in a Hanger at Gliding Center, Pune.

Hi all aeromodellers,

Pune  Aeromodellers Association is a registered organisation under the charity commisioner and we have successfully completed 3 yrs. With a member strength of 45 fliers. We are closely associated with Gliding Center, Pune at hadapsar and with their due permisson. we are flying on weekends mostly Friday, Sat and Sun. Time 8:00am to 11:00 am.

We also have a small Hangar provided and use it mostly to store our models.

Fliers are welcome for annual membership which is Rs.500/-.

guest fliers are welcome. Membership is compulsary if flying frequently or wish to visit the field on a regular basis.

My name is Manav a member of PAA. Flying skills  :banghead: just went solo! {:)} Life at PAA is interesting. Much hard work is needed to keep all going well and efforts are being put by all  :thumbsup: Just like any young organisation, PAA is learning and improving with every passing day. Guest are always welcomed. We have a beautiful feild  {:)} We fly mostly on Saturdays & Sundays. Time 8.30 AM till we can.

i to like the glider center nice place but Hadapsar traffic god thank god its Sunday little less traffic

BTW: Today we had about 20 people, 20 Planes, 1 Heli & 1 Buggy, 1 Monster Truck at the feild.....was a fun fun day!!! ;D

visited the gliding airfield/center at Hadapsar last saturady .

I do not speak Hindi so found no one to talk there..

still, I came with a driver and was told that no RC activity has not taken place there for
2 months (or that none is planned.. for 2 months ).

did a quick tour and saw the hangar keeping the gliders safe:)

Sir, are there any Rc Heli models with u ?... we are a group of students in VIT Pune , trying to model an RC heli.... So can we get Design related help from you ... ?
We will be much thankful to you if we can get help... or even if there are not any heli models with u but PAA wish to add them.. then we can workout together ... as we are interested in designing them... but we lack many things like basic contacts with people... it will be also helpful if u can provide us any contact recommendations.
