I have got in RC last month and I'm finding it bit difficult to order parts and find good places to fly, any tips would also help a lot.

I'm in Surat about 9 months of the year and I'm also looking for some good place to fly a quadcopter. I had come across a post somewhere where someone mentioned they flew, but I can't remember which post it was. I suspect we'd have to go near Lalbhai contractor stadium or Dumas. Dumas beach could be a good spot, especially early in the morning.

Welcome to the forum. Well I'm from Gujarat but currently settled in Pune. Even in the bigger cities people order parts from online stores, so you should not be facing any challenges in ordering parts in Surat as almost all the stores ship to Surat. There are many online stores like rcmumbai.com, http://www.vibranthobbies.com/ (http://www.vibranthobbies.com/) are few of them. Or you could mention your parts requirement in Wanted section of this forum itself and I am sure somebody will help you out with that. Thank You. |
