RC India

Hello all,

I am just beginner to the Hobby of RC cars & planes and have just bought an RC car out of Fancy. I’m looking to be a part of a club in and around the place where there are Meetups and RC activities happening on regular basis. Is there anything like this happening or lets initiate?

I'm an RC enthusiast as well, i'm into planes. Recently bought my first 4CH plane, Art-Tech Mig 15 EDF Jet from Jack's Hobbies. I'm looking for a field, preferably, in South Delhi, where i can maiden this plane.

The Venue mentioned is Suitable and would love to join if it is convenient. Please mention what time do you guys normally meet? Have also gone through the link and you guys do lovely flying. Are there also any RC truck/car enthusiasts with a track or something where we can also ride, Because i don’t have a plane yet and feel myself very new to the hobby for it!!

We normally meet (in winters) about 6:45 am and wind up by 8:30-9 am. There are no car/truck enthusiasts, only planes and the occasional heli. Sometimes (quite often nowadays :) ) there are only two of us; sometimes up to 6-7

You can buy nitro fuel from RCBazaar, Jack's Hobbies, Hobby Sea, Beyond Toyz, etc. They even have a nice collection of accessories. You can also try some other hobby stores (International) like Hobby King, NitroPlanes, Banana Hobby, etc. They too have a wide range of products.

Well, as far as a field is concerned, i've found a few in Chhattarpur area (Near Saket). They are not as big as one might expect but i think, One or Two of them are quite acceptable. I'm still searching for other fields as well. I'll keep you posted on the same.

No sir (Mr. Rai), you don't have to go anywhere. These are the online sites, just order whatever you need and get it on your doorstep. :) And, you are very correct as well, we have a couple of Hobby Stores here in Delhi where you can buy stuff.

Sir, i hope you might have been in these stores and i'm curious about whether they sell scale models (RTFs and ARFs)?

The Cub, like any scale model, is not an absolute trainer but does require some medium (not expert ) skill to fly.

I'm 5 minutes walk from the nearest Metro (HUDA City Centre) and you can collect it

Incidentally, in case you missed it; this is a fully-built ready-to-fly model built from a kit
