I think general public would applaud more of adrenalin pushing Acro/3D performance. These slow sticks/gliders are for purist fliers.

Don't make a public display of your ignorance and lack of knowledge please   >:D, I would advice you not to put your foot into the mouth in public  :giggle:

The response to this workshop was  from 180 teams of average 3 members each  and 37 of them were shortlisted by the Institute.

Learn to walk first before you fly

I guess I have expressed my anguish to whom it matters. I am removing my post for the cleanliness of the forum.

You don't seem to have understood the SPIRIT of this forum at all .

Seller's and aero modelers here are working together  here  to build up the hobby , Anwar , Chan , Katty and all of us have had  arguments and comments worse than this  and no one has  :'( or whined like this .

We  don't have  anything like hard feelings or hatred towards any one  when we comment  that is just the way we are  here  even  Subu who is far younger to you has always taken  things in the right perspective and spirit  {:)} {:)}.

Always our arguments have been fruitful and productive here , though they may have been rough and at time crude  but no one ever misunderstood and whined like this .

BTW Anwar is niether influenced by sellers  nor members I have found him to be quite fair and straight and  you expecting that he will be influenced by me to throw you out of here is another example of how well you have understood the SPIRIT of this forum  and its members .

One thing I can assure you is that  should you start a forum I surely will not even venture near it you need not worry . I  am not used to whining and  :'(   .

This is precisely what I was trying to convey to you please try to understand the subject and the environment properly before passing comments and opinions on  subjects which are new to you.

To list :
1) You have not understood that a slow glider is the best way for beginners to learn flying : Easy Star , Slow Stick , Easy Cub etc  are solid beginners planes  acclaimed the world over
2) You have not understood that we the sellers and other forum members are contributing to development of the hobby as  a team
3) You have not understood that this is possibly one of the most open forums and you have joined such an environment where freedom of expression is paramount : so this can also turn heated at times .
4) You have not understood that Anwar is one of the person least influenced by  sellers and members.

In short you have neither understood the normal route adapted for starting into this hobby nor the spirit nor the very core elements of this forum .

I feel sad for you as your  mind seems to be blocked by your own opinion  .

Yes it would do you well not to comment on issues you have little knowledge about .
Try  learn  as you go along , we have all come the same way.

Sai

The only thing i found like endorsing here was th e fact, that in recent weeks, this forum does seem to have turned into a fish market. Not really in any bad sense. All that seem to be discussed here is trade, market and buying and selling.
These are important issues to all of us, but where has the RC humor, Tips and tricks, flying secrets gone ?
Like i posted a question about flight trimming, and got only Anwar's reply . Was their no modeller interested in replying to a simple question ? If i had posted about buying Lipo, then i would have got at least 3 reply in 30 minutes :))
Thats good . But my point is, lets also discuss and participate in other topics.

Please I don't want any conflict with you and your little enterprise. I won't walk across your posts, you please do the same. I know you well get me off the forum, but I can join with other account or even start another RC forum, where I can have 'No Sellers Allowed' Policy.

Ujjwal , No need to start another forum. Go to indiarc.com where there are no sellers allowed. Or stick here to get the best deals/updates and freedom.

Not entirely true ONLY ONE  SELLER  is allowed there   no prizes for  guessing  who :P ;) ;D

BTW  this topic was  not one of the seller buyer thing  at all it was a simple question posted for some workshop  and I replied  about a workshop we had done which was successful there is even a thread on that .
Then the thread got hijacked by  an ill informed unconnected point of view not relevant and  that had no bearing to the purpose of the thread in the first place    >:(  to which I reacted and then all the crying and whining  has taken it totally off course.

Guys... calm down  :)

Nobody is going to kicked off the forum.  I for one do not support even locking any topic (except classifieds that are sold); if any discussion becomes unbearable, I just request people to take it easy.

We all have our differences.  Look at some of the heated arguments we have had in the past.  But they are all done without losing respect for one another (at least that is how I always saw it).  Remember that there is always more to learn, as I myself did after I started this forum (I thought I knew a whole lot!).

Gaurav - I see your point.  But remember that there were also hectic periods of all the things you wanted to see, periods of very little activity of any kind at all, and the current stage of hectic commercial activity.  It is like the seasons; and even more like that saying in Texas, "If you don't like the weather, just wait a little" !

We all push our points and agendas.  My agenda is to keep RC India an open and active place.  Others have their own. Just see through those, and pick the ones you like.  Let the rest slide  ;)
