Guys I just found this in WPC website it says no license is required for radio frequency bands from 2.4ghz-2.4835ghz......I think that's a good news.... Found it here... http://www.wpc.dot.gov.in/faq.asp

Finally... my radio arrived.... and guess what... !!!

NO CUSTOMS AT ALL. NOT EVEN A SINGLE PENNY I WAS CHARGED FOR CUSTOMS. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Giggle
Now guys I can say don't hesitate ordering radio from HobbyKing... dont know if I was lucky ! Giggle Giggle
..
I've uploaded the pics... on the first pic you can see which condition my package arrived... looking like they were playing rugby with it Bang Head Bang Head ..

At least my radio was safe... thanks HK for good packaging... checked radio all working..WORTH 30$...

IMHO customs can't really overcharge or rob you if you stay in another city, because even if they do charge you, they won't get the money... I think it only happens when they can meet you face to face...
