early may or late may ?

well hobby king always do late things that's why its taking so low shipping fees
but if we do by fedex it comes fast that's why it charges so high but why to pay so high fees for that thing
they should do it normal

It means that the customs has released your packet and it is on the way to your home. Custom duty may or may not be charged.

vineet i have ordered it in January. it got stuck in customs from feb.Just  after a long wait, i lose my patience and mailed them to send it back to the supplier.  Now it is showing this status.  Plz read the last line  " Send item to domestic location --  MUMBAI OFR SEA/SAL ''

Well My friend I talked to Mumbai foreign post office they told when there computers are not working today so they told call tomorrow but I told them the tracking information from here and asked them kindly to make it understand to me
so they told me that

the last one in tracking means that
It came to your domestic location I mean nearest post office but the delivery was not possible so its getting returned to shipper I mean hobbyking or where from its ordered
It will be going by sea route OFR Offcial Returning By Sea/Sal
But he told there are chances of possibilities that it may not go return and again come back so we will have to call tomorrow as there computers are not working

Ok Manoj Contacted Them Today Their Andheri Office computers were not working so I contacted Santacurz area office which only deals EMS but today they also handling Registered So they told me as it is been returned to Malaysia thorugh sea and air link so it was dispatched to Malaysia on 14 as it shows on The tracking
And it will some days to get it updated on their website that it has reached there
So I think you should get your money back mate
And I am really sorry I was not able to stop your parcel because it dispatched very soon

Well Aman, if you think Hobby King is giving you Cheap Shipping, please visit HK Post/China Post tariff page.  Hobby King earns at least 40% in the shipping they charge us and that too one of the most slowest Packaging and Forwarding. they also indulge in shipping malpractices, sometimes to enable us receiving otherwise restricted items like LiPO, but most of times to enable their business.
I have almost Always got packages from US 2 times faster and in better shape compared to Hobbyking/Other Chinese seller, both unregistered and registered.

I have a querry to people who have ordered from Hobby King in the last month. I ordered from Hobby king on 16th last month, to which they claimed 'Shipped Out' on 19th may. But the package was actually handed over only on 4th may. The problem is that there is NO update after "Recieved from Customer" by the Malaysian Post since June 4th.  I learned that few of my fellow club members facing the same for their recent orders. Are other across the country facing the same ??

For the first time I had to open a Paypal dispute for HK order, which makes me sad. The real problem is the stubborn attitude of Hobby King customer support. They instead of checking Malaysian Post at their end, they insist on me waiting for full 39 days for a over $200 order. I am dead on not closing Paypal dispute and putting Hobby King in lesser preferable hobby shop now on.

I See my friend so you use paypal for you making your payments in Hobbyking am I right can you tell me That which bank debit card or credit card did you use to verify the account you know as it requires
And second thing yes the parcel gets handed over to the shipping company very fast but they update very late
So that's the problem we face here

i was going to order a lipo charger and a power unit from hobbyking and was going to chose DHL express as the shipping people
i was confused on one part though my order value is less than 10,000 INR but with the shipping it is around about 11,000 INR
will i be charged customs if my order value is less than 10,000 INR ? or customs would be charged regardless of the order value
how is DHL express service ? does hobbyking hand over the order quickly or does it take time ?

Get a PC SMPS from local to save on shipping costs.The SMPS costs only Rs.600
Its better to order only the charger.There is 90% chance that you will be charged with customs.

I had the same problem for my charger. What I did was, used aligator clips to draw power from my heavy duty inverter battery. Gives stable and ample of output current. You may also do the same if you have inverter at home.

Looks like there are more changes to Lipo shipping rules via Registered Mail

My recent order containing a small Rx pack is coming via Surface (not Air). And this is after a 20 day wait at the outbound sorting station.

Also it is destined for Kochi. This is also new to me, mostly they land at Mumbai/Delhi/Kolkata

i was thinking about the same thing for the power supply if i would be charged custom duty what will be the rate of it

hey guys i was going to order a charger and a power supply from HK and was going to go with DHL express as the shipping option .
i have a few questions though
1- how is dhl express service
2- how long will it take for my parcel to arrive
3- i bought my futaba 10j from towerhobbies and chose world wide saver they collected the custom duty from me when they delivered the parcel will dhl do the same thing ?
4- since the value of the goods is less than 10,000 will i be charged customs if so how much

I am not sure how fast is DHL from Hobbyking (everything from Hobbyking is generally slow). But in general DHL is one of the best. It normally takes 3-4 days.
Customs duty may or may not be applicable - its your luck.

AFAIK, customs duty is always paid at the time of delivery.
