Would be ordering 2 Lipo batteries from HobbyKing ... Whats the best shipping i should select .. i am not in a hurry to get the package and will i have to pay any customs duty ?
Lipo price would be around 28$ for each so 56$ worth stuff..

I read somewhere in this group that hobbyking is banned. Can anyone tell me if i can get receivers from hobbyking or any online aborad store?
What will be custom duty i have to pay for $50 receivers?

You can get the receiver from hobbyking. I have brought JR clone 4channel DMSS receivers.

Thanks to this wonderful forum for all the info.
I wanted to get in RC & ordered a Tx from hobbyking which is stuck in customs. Too late a realization now on how difficult to have it reach you after detailed reading here.

Any help will be greatly appreciated to help get my order delivered @ Bangalore.

Has anyone received their parcel from Malaysia post (the new surface method)? The one which lands at Kochi.
How long does it take to reach Kochi after the status is "Send item abroad (EDI-received)"

Sundaram sir i have raised the compliant to refund the money because the maximum delivery time is 39 days, so its already over. They asked 1 month time for investigation.

mine parcel is too coming through malaysia post surface i ordered on 6th july and last update was on 14th july...
hope it come before september..

Guys, approx 38 days after Kuala Lumpur, parcel has reached Kochi

pls help me out how many days taken to have a parcel from hobbyking ihavent get a parcel 40 days r over no status r shown battery motor and esc r orders through EMS

Finally delivered after three months. With one part missing RMA claim raised. That's on the way. However subsequent all six parcels reached on time.  The last parcel now ordered despatched on the same date of order via Singapore post. I am sure this one will reach well in time

So, if we choose registered parcel during checkout in hobbyking, they decide whether to send by Singapore or Malaysia or China post. Don't we have a choice?

I am traveling to USin november, i just wanted to confirm will ther be any problem if I get few motors, ESC and fresky module in checkin bag?

Now Singapore post in the same lines as Malaysian post. Ordered more than a week back still yet to be dispatched.  

The problems seems to be with Hobbyking warehousing, stocking and inventory management. It appears as is Hobbyking accepting orders without stock position and falling back to production lines after the orders are placed.


PS : When I check back its just six days back the tracking ID was updated in store. Six days to dispatch or is it I am getting impatient.

now i have decided not to use Airmail (Registered) shipping option in Hobbyking  because it takes 2 to 3 months to reach here, so better i pay few more $ on DHL 

I ordered mine on 16th Aug and shipped the same day.  Tracking came alive on 23rd Aug. Now its awaiting presentation to customs commissioner or whatever it means. Hope it passes.

i want to buy a cheap transmitter for my quad ,i am looking for a 6 channel transmitter,i want the hobbyking ct6b + an extra receiver that comes out to be 35.22$=2150.89rs.(without shipping charges ,weights about 1033g) ,my concern is i have never ordered from hobbyking and my friend did order 2 lipos and a charger which got lost,it was found but it took them 3 weeks(without any response) after the desired shipping date...so should i order from hobbyking??and what are the shipping charges??and what are the things to look for while ordering from hobbyking??

I would suggest to buy from  local hobby shops....

i thought of that coz i can test the transmitter there and return it if it is not working,the price the store was offering was 2700 but as i bought lots of stuff from there he came down to 2500rs.,but a friend suggested hobbyking as they give cheaper stuff.im confused ,has anybody ordered from hobbyking??plz share your experience...
plus i want it cheap bcoz i will outgrew it soon...
