When I said beware while ordering to HK no body bothered to listen me.

It's quite clear HK is up to their tricks again.

Trust our own people than a Chinese thug.

I will say take advice of ujjwaana who himself works professionally with such kind of things. Contact your Bank and ask them further details of the transaction and send hk the  same details  and ask your bank what they can do to help you in case you want to revert the transaction incase transaction is through. Be safe than sorry.

I received my parcel last day. It was stuck in the post office itself due to transfers of officers working in my local GPO. I went there and received.

I submitted lower price of this motor at most of sites other than HK, lowest being HKStreets (even Scorpion sells at lower price)

HK indeed lowered the price for a while , but when I tried to finally buy this motor today, the price is again jacked up to $124. HK seems to just take people for a ride, telling all kind of lies, making promisses, claims which dont have solid ground. Even a bright light of my order which immediately showed 'Shipped' in 48hrs of ordering, seems to be a dudd as the status does not move since Saturday!!

i paid money from my debit card to HK. now they are saying we have not got the payment. what to do?
money was deducted from my card.

In one of the other lines of business I am involved in, something like this happens every once in a while.  The customer will pay with credit/debit card, the PoS terminal from the bank through which the transaction is made will report some error, but the card owner will receive an SMS saying amount X has been deducted !  As the business owner, we are forced to ask the user to pay again, because if the transaction did not indeed go through, we will not be able to chase down the same customer again.  At the same time, if the customer did get charged twice, their bank would remove the double charge after consulting with us, usually within  a week.  Since the amounts are the same, and the transactions will be within a matter of minutes, it is easy to notice.

In short, the resolution of such issues usually happens mostly at the customers bank, working with the seller... but the process is initiated by the customer.  It is one of the rare hassles the comes with the convenience of plastic money.

Thanks Anwar for fixing the link in my post. Snehal has a unique problem. The HK order page clearly says "Paid" in the order status, so the Bank did send a Credit Acknowledgement against the HK transaction ID, which resulted in the HK cart system to show Paid status. I wonder why HK is then asking about failed payment? shouldn't they also try investigating at their end ? They are not in Charity business, putting all the onus on the buyers, right from shipment, guarantee, returns , and now payment .

why will they under value anything? its the buyer that requests such things, to save money

I think there's a link on their web site, which says what value you want to show in your "custom" invoice.

I have been browsing some US on line rc stores, they don't have this option even Singapore online stores don't have this option on their web sites.

Co-operation in illegal activities is crime in itself.

And again they have deceived another forum member. No I can't dare to order with HK, it is not possible at this point of time. May be some other day.

WOW- so many comments regarding HobbyKing, both good and bad views! I respect all these comments!
Well, luckily I didn't face any such major problem with HK, but after reading some posts, I fear I am not doing any kind of wrong to my nation with these international markets. I love my nation and its the first priority for me. And I hope its not harming financial growth of nation in 'any' terms.

Just wrote it like that.. No worries, but a matter to think (maybe)...

Hey, Smiley they are releasing my parcel but i had to upload my debit cards pic. They asked for the pic so that they could identify that i was the owner of that card. They promised they will not ask for it in future.

LOL.  Giggle I thought wish list is list of things which are to be granted for free on special occasions.

I though that HK will give the items in wish list for free as a gift on my birthday. So i added some cheap items under 1$ and though that those items will will be sent by HK for free to surprise me on my b'day.

EMS Mumbai, is at CST (domestic) airport, Santa Cruz. Just behind Sahara Star Hotel. They are usually very quick.

EMS shipments can be tracked online. But I suggest you make a visit. A good time is between 11:00 and 16:00. Avoid "lunch time". I had their telephone number somewhere. Will give it to you if I find it.

Btw HK parcel are now taking only 4 or 5 days flat from ordering to Home delivery by normal registered post. One of the order made on 20th July was delivered yesterday. NICEEEEE.

I said 4 or 5 days because another order i was hoping would be delivered today. if it were then it would have taken 4 days only as the one i received yesterday took 5 days.
