Not having a great experience with HobbyKing so far... Placed the order on 13th March (22 days ago). My TowerHobbies order was in my hands in 18 days flat.

It's like I'm talking to a wall, but I think I will ring the Mumbai FPO on Thursday and enquire about the package (4 weeks from placement of order and 18 days at customs).

I think your parcel is held by custom since 22 march.. I think you shud ask the people who have faced similar situation. Sorry i cant help cause never faced like this problem while ordering from hobbyking.

I was suggested to forget the parcel for time being. That's what i have done.

The thing is, my TowerHobbies order was at my doorstep on the 18th day after placing the order. However, this one has been at customs for 20 days alone. Obviously, I also want to get the parcel ASAP. I'm okay with paying applicable duty but that's only when they release it... Can anyone share a solution if they've had such a problem? This, I think pertains specifically to Mumbai Customs.

I think I forgot to mention it, I also had a guy (working at customs) try to get the package cleared. He was unable to get it cleared. So, I think all of the people who are waiting for their HK orders (esp. ones stuck @Mumbai Customs), there is something wrong. Waiting for 1.5 months seems a bit ridiculous... 

Buggers!!!! had sent the HK Mini APM Board without soldering these three output pins for signal and we were left hacking away our brain for an entire day last Sunday as to what was wrong with our setting up procedure.

EMS is cheapest but it may take atleast one month to get delivered. Take my advice dont try to import Tx/Rx coz there are many custom issues with these things.

Bangalore customs seems to be in nice mood  i ordered for js tz v2 , ASP engine, flybarless electronics and few other parts total over 5kgs. it was delivered to me with no custom charged in 16 days from Hongkong.

Yes... I have ordered some parts on may.. Still i didn't get any updates hobbyking shipping really sucks man.. Its taking too much time. Before it was 15to20 days, but now it taking Minimum 20 to40 days.

Well I ordered 2 shipments of a kg plus each and paid the least required for the Non Lipo and a Lipo pack.  They came to me in less than 15 days.  That was amazing.  Earlier my packets by EMS cost me a bomb and all came with customs duty in over 40 days.
