Hi Guys,
 I have ordered some stuff from Hobbyking on 27/1/11. On 29/1/11 I got an email saying that your item has been dispatched from their warehouse along with the tracking number. Today I was not able to track the items. Theyare saying that not available. Please Help me.

Please read the previous posts. HK Post takes anywhere from 3-7 days to display your Tracking# and between 5-10 days to ship out of Hong Kong. There is this lunar year holidays till Feb 9th so expect heavy delays.

But they are saying that they have shipped the parcel.

but long back i ordered eurgle 9x (also called as turnigy 9x) but from r2hobbies came through HK post without any problems.

Don't worry.
Could you please check your mail? Hobbyking should send a mail regarding confirmation of shipping. You should receive two mails from (CHECKER_ROBOT@hobbyking.com) and (Order_Shipped@hobbyking.com).
Hobbyking generally confirms the customer about packing of parcel through the " checker robot" and then ship it.
If you got the tracking number please visit this site.
www.track-trace.com/track and select the shipping method.

But what happens ved, Hobbyking might sent your parcel but due to holidays they could not update the details of your parcel. It happens during holidays.
So plese don't worry........Pls wait for some days.

When ordering from HK, there is a customs declaration drop down.
What should i do there?
Considering i'm ordering some stuff for personal use and its a hobby, should i have to declare anything?

i'm new to rcindia and i need some help regarding the hk shipment of products and custom duties

i'm ordering shipment worth 10k with ems service(including shipment charges) so pls suggest me wat value should i declare?? and sud i hav a custom clearance before the shipment or custom duties are to be dealt after the shipment reach india... pls help...

Its better to use ordinary registered airmail..

wat abt the custom sud i seek clearance first

1. Please dont order such high value package. Break up in smaller ones.
2. Dont ask explicit questions which shouldn't be asked in open.

Plus, their offices are a bit out of the way, in the New Territories (same for Flying-Hobby.com), you have to plan for adequate travel time.

I have had someone pickup my stuff from the hobbyking warehouse once.... its is in Fo Tan, the place is a bit far away and your sister may have troubles reaching there... you might want her to go to RADAR RC in kowloon instead...they stock all kinds of stuff that hobbyking has,.....

I got my second turnigy tx without any issue or any custom charges.

planning to flash the second one with the frimware.

WOWW...I'd love to get one of those Turnigy Radios, dude, how much did you pay for Shipping ?? And What was the mode of shipping ? I mean Registered Air Mail or EMS ?

Its just normal Air Mail. The total cost would be 80$(with some extra space to add something else). But it is just pure luck if it passes through the customs.
