Some people might have had good business with them I guess Undecided Instead checking for a black list you should have looked for "best hobby shop"

If I were Mr Jack, I would have paid someone to give a positive review for myself on this this forum.
Well any one here who had a good or even fair deal with them ? Or they only deal rogue ?
With so many LHS coming up, I would prefer to Blacklist them, considering their unrelenting attitude.

I would like to add my experience during a personal visit to the store. I was in Hyderabad for a day trip and had a short time to spare before leaving for the airport. I asked my host if we could visit them. I found him to be a pure trader without much knowledge and fairly arrogant. I asked him if he had the Subaru in stock. He said he had one that was built and flown but the customer did not like it. He wanted the full price for it!

The guy has loads of attitude and that has shown up in people's comments. Add to this is the fact that his prices are not particularly reasonable.

They would soon be left only to rip off new comers. So please , if one happens to interest other with R/C, please hand hold him/her with proper guidance, and introduce to Forum like this! Else they will fall prey to such Con-shop with Bells and whistle . Yes! Their site is aptly inviting with delicious model, just like a carnivorous plant! I almost paid them for a BobCat. Thanks to VC for putting a post in time.

Not "soon be left" but already!

As they say, there's a sucker born every minute. Someone I know had a bad experience also. When I asked what made him go there, his answer was that this was the first site that showed up on Google!

Happy is a man whose hobby is his profession

If blacklisting is not an option then atleast we can put up a sticky topic in Beginners section which can make things obvious for newbies and help them to identify people/shops to stay away from.

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Why not black-listed ?  Not everyone has bad experiences.  I personally know people who have dealt with this store, and except for not great prices, everything else was fine. Prices don't matter, when items are small, and the buyer is in desperate need of the same.

Wondering if we should create a "Beware of these sellers" child board under "RC Outlets and Resellers" ?

I really do not want to be the gatekeeper to this information. With such a child board, people can post their experiences there.  We will highlight this board in the "Mega list of RC Stores", so that everyone would see it before proceeding down the list.

It is an open forum, and the store owners are welcome to post rebuttals.

PPS: Do we need one under "For Sale" also to handle rouge classifieds ?

having said what we have to , some items(Very few i guess) aren't highly priced , trainer chord (Though sold out), spare futaba chord for sim, some such items, some items are available only with him and sometimes you don't mind paying more as you are desperately in need of it.
Air Force authorities have banned and local NCC stays clear, thought you all should know

PS
Soon he will realise and hopefully change, if he does, i think then he can be counted as a LHS

We could also put up a caution beside the store name in the mega list of outlets just as we have done for Mpowershopping.

i am not fielding for anyone here, Mpowershopping (Ghanesh alias Rajender) off late has shown promising improvement, after all he is a young boy, he will growup and will grow to be responsible person, that is natural progression of life. he got a Yak 54 50 cc for his birthday last month, what does it mean ?. means he is in love with the hobby, any LHS who love the hobby will overtime improve, IMHO

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

MPowerShopping was really bad. That was not the feedback about Jacks (at least not as bad). Probably things have changed.

MPowerShopping did contact me in private sometime back to inform that he had hired to full time staff to man the phones etc, and he was looking to improve.  But some parts of the communication sounded like the old self.

I think creating a child board is probably the simplest solution... say what ?

Just want to know something. Is the feedback system in our forum only meant for the trade done through this forum, i.e only if someone is selling something here can we put a feedback. Because in my opinion a feedback system is also good.

And my only concern for making a child board is that people might overlook them. Like if I am searching for a store in city X on google and i see it in rcindia, I note the address, website, etc and then close it overlooking that. This is why I thought putting a caution beside the name is a reasonable idea.

L'enfant Terrible du RCIndia

As Chintu had said earlier, "when i enquired got to know that its not in stock and neither the money has been deposited in their account ", the same happened to someone else  when he tried to buy an Eurofighter from him.

This Mr. Jack 'neglects' to mention his middle name at times while disclosing his bank details. As a result of this, his account holder name does not match with the details provided by the buyer as he tries to remit the money. The bank does not transfer the money into the sellers account due to this discrepancy. When the buyer finds out the truth, Mr. Jack gives him a mouthful for funds not being transferred in time.

Great person to deal with!

Have you contacted your bank about this? They can tell you if the transfer is completed or not.
