There is an inactive member here named "Jack", who listed his website as the same LHS.  You want to try sending this thread to him via PM ?  Hopefully exposure to the negative publicity may help   I have seen it happen in other cases !

Now this is a straight case of farudism, fit for police case. If we can't put Jackhobbies in a Black List, let the forum not mention them in our Reseller list, unless my Jack (of all bad trade) comes back. He he doesn't care to reply back, I dont see a reason this Forum should give them a Free publicity. Its serious matter of financial fraud (or inappropriate good in return, equally bad) and the forum should disassociate with them.

It is fair to say that putting one in black list only on few case bad review is inappropriate, but the complete indifference to people and repeated offense of similar fashion is not anything we can have a tolerance of. All the good LHS like Sai, Sanjeev, VK Singh, Praveen have always replied to occasional complaint.

But I think its time to outcast Mr Jack for what he shamelessly continue to do. And mind it, he doesn't not only had bad review from (at times immature) newcomers, but grownup seniors like VC, Gusty etc.

I dont see a reason he should be treated at Par with MpowerShopping.

Being young, ignorant, lenient , indifferent couldn't be an excuse for financial irregularities.

I am sorry for repeating my self, but this is important to come to a conclusion. If you used NEFT then you should call your bank about the transfer, a failed transaction can take up to three days to turn around.

Ps: you have not mention when you made the transfer, hence the question.

I also had a bad experience dealing with Jack hobbies.

But it is extremely important that the OP mention when the transfer was made.  Otherwise we could all be barking up the wrong tree (at least in this case).

The transfer was made on 3rd of may through icici bank by rtgs / neft and yes I verified from the bank regarding the transfer made correctly 

I would strongly suggest that you wait till May 7th before pursuing this.

Not even Jack would take someone's money like that for free !  Give it couple of days to show up in the recipients account for sure.

To the best of my knowledge one's middle name is not required. However the bank's name, branch, code and account number of the transferee  must be correct for smooth transfer under NEFT.

My two transfers one 8k  and one 3.5 k to VK didn't show up with the recipient, more than 25 days now, my pass book is also updated , through NEFT, VK says it goes into something called a suspense account, it is the person who deposits, his responsibility to track it AFAIK. It is not jack's, in my case i have given an application to the bank and let us see what happens.

I've worked on a similar system but only for ATM transactions and AFAIK if such transaction do not resolve in three days then it means that settlement was not received for that transaction and it is moved out of reconciliation queue. So we can take max two days which the transaction took to go kaput and then three days in the queue, thats five days. So if not resolved in five days then its never gonna get resolved on its own and manual intervention is required. The bank can resolve this easily but one will have to inform that bank about it.

I will say this again... it is highly probable that Jack has not received the money YET.  Can't imagine day-light robbery like this, in this day and age, plus inviting police case etc etc.  Selling items for higher margins, or bluffing about stock in hand etc are all one thing, but taking someone's money and giving nothing back in return is whole another level. 

Please ensure your information is perfect, before pursuing this vigorously.

request all members to do pay by cheque only. take a xerox copy of the cheque before you deposit. that way you have proof and keep the receipt of the chque deposit slip untill the transaction is over.

not to worry when you do it this way. paypal is also safe.

NEFT is a quick and easy way to transfer money..If u give the correct IFSC number and FULL account number,it'll reach..Exact name is not necessary..Suppose the account number is wrong means, it'll be lying in tat destination bank's NEFT suspense and they will credit to the concern account by verifying the details that report..Sometimes it may be returned to the sender's account..

I was contacted on my mobile by chintu on 3-5-11 regarding the transfer,We informed him and also sent him our bank statement by mail that we had not received the transfer as yet,And also informed him politely that the said model was sold at our store the same day i.e 3rd may by which time the amount was not yet transferred to our a/c . Also informed him that if the amount he had transferred showed up the next day or later we would promptly send him the refund and told him not to worry,The transfer was reflected in our a/c on 5th May and we promptly couriered the same as promised.(Gati Doc No: 801090255 track on www.gati.com)But Mr Chintu could not hold his guns and had to write the review on 4th may after being promised that he would receive the full refund in Due course.

iam not very computer savvy,i really am not good with my words or computing. i have thought of defending myself many a times but just unable to actually do it.
Anyways, Life in this RC business is not as rosy at it seems to many,But we are still into it because this Hobby is very dear to my Heart !!!!!!!
