Title: bad shipment from Quadkopters.com
Post by: Adityaamg on June 28, 2014, 12:10:07 PM
I ordered some stuff from Qk, including a lipo voltage alarm for my batteries. It was nicely packed in a box and safely wrapped in news paper. I opened the parcel and saw that the pin was bent of the voltage checker.
I don't think it got damaged in shipping. I think it was carelessness to send a damaged item.

Did you contact Satya before posting? A bent pin does not constitute giving someone a negative comment. Besides unless you have a 8 cell lipo I doubt you will ever use that pin. Since this hobby does require a lot of DIY, I suggest you straighten the pin yourself.

Aditya

1.if it is not negative comment then why name the post as bad shipment

2. Just straigten the damn pin buddy, it will work,

3.do you seriously think he shipped it with pin bent? No, thanks to our Indian Postal and Courier service it happened that way.

4. Did you tell satya about it ? did you PM him/ Call Him/ Mail Him ?

Stop being such a Gripe Aditya

@Satya
it will be a good idea to embed pin into some thermocol before shipping

@admin

pl see if this thread could be deleted, if you feel it should be

Woops, I think its a biased forum. Anyways I apologise. Well I just got to know that Satya Gupta owns qk. I have no clue about Indian retailers, because I hardly stay in India.

Aditya, I think your views are biased. Any customer would have opted to contact the seller and tried to get it resolved. If the resolution wasnt satisfactory, you had every right to complain.

But without giving the seller a chance to rectify, you straight away went public which shows you in a bad light.

PS:
2. Just straigten the damn pin buddy, it will work,
Simplest solution!Completely agree.

I just tried to show that the shipment is bad. No mud throwing on anyone. Well this kind of shipping is unacceptable to me. And the box was completely intact. There was no damage to the box, so it wasn't damaged while shipping. I tried straightening the pin, bit the whole solder joint moved because the pins are so strong.

Thanks for everyone showing trust in webstore and the service provided by me
@arun, @Rahul, @ashim,@chintal, @sidewinder and Gutsy sir

Actually i believe that its after sales service that makes a store better not by the pricing or the products. Its the service which customer's remember rest is history.

I don't think it got damaged in shipping. I think it was carelessness to send a damaged item.

Aditya if you prove this statement then i would give you 10 pcs of the Checker free and thats my words.

Any product that is shipped out is checked for the defects before adding them in the box, i make sure that each and every product is checked. When product arrives from China i check each and every product before adding them in stock for sale. So a bad/damaged product being shipped is not possible.

@Satya
it will be a good idea to embed pin into some thermocol before shipping

That is a very good idea i would definitely try that hence forth, but i wrap enough bubble sheets and paper. This must be an odd case.

Anyways Aditya, i have always responded to customers issues immediately. If you dont know that i own QK, "actually you dont need to know" we have a contact us page on the webstore just drop a mail on the email id thats it.

Could you please now drop a mail, i would give you a return address where you need to return.

There was no bubble wrap in my case.

News paper? if we dont have bubble wrap we use news papper.

Aditya, comments/posts like these put any lhs in bad light. Did you think about this before posting this without communicating with the store?

Nothing, I just broke the bent pin from the solder joint. Now I will have to ask someone to fix it, because all my repair stuff is kept in my university.

I don't want to do that. Soldering it back is a wiser solution.
