Post by: kondor on May 15, 2015, 07:05:50 PM
I thought I should post my experience with hobbyking.
it is bad really bad.
1 hobbyking cheat its customrs.
2 never answers any question.
3 HK operator reply in terms of copy past. No matter what you ask and how many times. ..their answer is copy past...
4 if you persist and insist an answer they reply whatever suits.
5 if item is out of stock hk would not declares. ..
6 no respect for customers....
i will post some communication with proofs.

@kondor,
Perhaps 50% or more of our stuff in India is from HobbyKing...

Seen something nice topic this time, i will follow this thread with great Interest.
I have dealt with HK for the 4 years without any issue, their support is up to the mark and at one instance i got a missing part from DIY kit in just 5 working days.
@ kondor: Please type in your complete issue ASAP, so all members  of RCI can be made aware of your such issues.

If you item went for back order you can ask for refund and they'll credit the amount to your account..they do it quite quickly(mine was done within 10-15 mins)

@roshan sir i don't think its proper to call the Customs silly as they are doing their job under the direction from DGCA(banning all UAS until
suitable laws are framed)and WPC plus the Chinese product are mostly not in compliance with the Govt standards or rules
Some time back they banned import of Chinese radios(FM radios) as it could be tuned to the police frequency and all their movement and working could be monitored easily(and the radios where cheap too)

Yes they have come down harshly on this hobby, bitter but true :banghead: Hope we soon see a ray of hope!
(No offence meant to anyone in any way! :))

Dealt with them  at least 20 times including returning a defective item. All I can say from my experience is they have a top notch customer support
