Ordered some prop savers, t-plug and 16 AWG Silicone Wire.....which amounted to Rs.996........ after paying using my debit card through the gateway ebs.in.......it got redirected to thehobbyshop.in......and the site said Transaction Failed and i saw that no orders were placed(stuffs were still on my cart).......but the money got debited from my account .....i did send them emails about my situation with proof 2-3 times......but no reply ......SMS ed them 2-3 times......no reply ..........called them a dozen times......yet no reply .I am so getting pissed off with this site........and finally i contacted the consumer forum and filed a complaint against TheHobbyShop........plzz dont buy from thehobbyshop.in.......there are lots of other awesome sites .....like rcbazaz , rcdhamaka , etc............Guys plzz share your experience with thehobbyshop.in.........and make all the members aware of this deceptive website

There are so many scam warnings from members about that site that I never dared to order anything from them. But they seem to have a stock of almost everything. Did any member here successfully buy anything from them?

yeah you did right .......and you should never even think of buying from them.........

In most cases like this, the money gets stuck at the gateway. Here, ebs.in. Such failed payments get refunded automatically to the buyer in a week & the online store might not even get notified of the sale, or the failure. Did you contact gateway?

It happened to me once & that's how i came to know. But it takes away nothing from their lack of response to your mails.

All the members who got duped by THS..  Why dont you get together n file a consumer forum complaint?  Its time to show these @&&#°¡€& that the RC community is not to be messed with. The few ppl posting here is the tip of the iceberg.  Jus imagine all those ppl who save up their hard earned money to enter the hobby and get duped by this site and probably give up on the hobby.

Yeah my father told me the same thing.......but they could have at least replied to my emails once.....thanks  for the suggestion I will definitely see to it

actually i had faced this issue with flipkart previously.. that my payment failed on payment gateway and amount was deducted...
and after 3 to 5 days i receive refund..

The question is not able flipkart or THS its about payment being deducted and not updating on the website. Which is done by the payment gateway.

As pointed out by Gunnu in this case the payment shall be refunded back to you in 4-5 days if ebs did not receive it due to some error.

You can also get in touch with EBS CC they might help you too.

Satya sir,  since the site has a long history of scamming people,  there is a possibility that the payment did go through but the site is designed not to show it.  I hope this is not the case and OP gets his money back.

Yes you have lost your money. They are a fraud site . You can read a number of threads in the forum regarding their fake shops and products....

Always check the reputation of a hobby shop before buying.

Why don't you lodge a complaint against that shop in cyber crime/fraud. Department of police. You have the receipt /mail from them. If not take the screenshot of the order page and submit it to the police. This will ensure that no one gets fooled anymore by them.

There is also consumer forum these days. They are quite powerful.

Hello, neheruji.....I had the same problem......but I eventually got my money back....It took me around a month of dragging to get my money back.....what you have to do is contact the gateway with which you paid for your order....in my case it was EBS .....any other way of contacting THS will turn out to be a failure.......I hope you get your money back☺☺☺☺

I would really recommend buying from Satya Gupta....quadkopters.com......its the most awesome RC website i have seen in india
