It was not long time back that I was praising HC and HK Post for shipping item in flat 11 days. Now some ugly part. Not very late after HC announced 48hrs shipping , I orderred this another packet from them. Now see the sequence of event and relate to 'Chinese bluff' shopkeeper of the Pacific Mall in Russel Peters' show 'One Ticket two Shows'.

17th May : Order Booked
19th May : Status changed to 'Shipped' in HC site
26th May : No status at HK Post Site. HC customer support asserts that they indeed sent it to HK post same day and that HK Post some time dont update status in time.

28th May : Finally HK Post status says they received the item on 28th (9 days after HC says!!)

2nd June : HK post says Item is being processed for departure. At the same time HC site cames out with advisory that HK post is facing strict Airport screening and status is not being updated timely.

10th  June : HK Post finally says the item has left H'Kong for destination.

Okay, I assume HK post had a bad time but I totally disagree with HC that HK is not updating the status. If they had a 'Form' problem , they would have never updated the status. If they finally get time to update,  they would have updated with the correct date.

What I say is HC  shipped my item full week late after they falsely claimed that they shipped out, as seen from HK tracking.

If you faced similar episode, please post them in different forum and HK Blog itself so that people know about their follies.

I am already used to delays and 1+1 week of lead time form HC and HK post. but what offends me is suspected false claims  by HC on their aggressive ship cycle which they don't attain on ground zero. A small 'Sorry' better than 10 white lies.

Hi ,

There you go.. i am in middle of this now..  , The status on HK site , tells me that my item has been shipped, but the Postal site does not have any information in them.. I have been waiting for a week now..still  no updates on the postal site..

Looks like you guys are not aware of the problem HC is facing. If you go through the posts on HC forums, you will know what they are going through.

Its in the human nature that we are never satisfied! We praise the people if they sell cheap and fast, and we curse them if the sell cheap and slow. All procedures have ups and downs and one has to cope up with the downs as well when the time comes.

Would that mean we will stop ordering from HC if their shipping remains this slow forever? Heck no, and still curse them!

No, Iam not an HC fan boy (Or am I?  Grin), Even my parcel is struck beyond the control of HC and Iam waiting patiently. Chinese are best at what they do and they do it sincerely (now dont curse on the quality coz what is pay is what you get and many are decent enough for us to use for the decent enough price.)
Chinese export to the whole world and probably to all the planets in our solar system in years to come Giggle. Now try to understand with literally millions of parcels leaving china per day what would happen if there is a cancellation of flight for a day due to some volcanic ash crap? How tough would it be to clear that pending 1 million back log? What would we do if we were airport authorities with all flight resource already full and overloaded?

Some times we need to think from their point of view as well!  Head Scratching

Now common, most of us, if not all of us wouldn't have done better if we were Jason001. He is one of the worlds best, if not there would have been many HCs by now. Who knows one day we may  have many, but they all still end up being in china, and we never stop cursing  Grin.

Most of us are used to incessant delays from HC. What hurts me is that HC tried to fool me saying they shipped out on 19th when they actually did on 28th. for all reasons, I would trust HK Post more than whatever HC tries to stuff in our mouth thru con-man like Jason. If you can't guarantee 48Hr shipping (for what ever staffing reason they have), please don't advertise and set a wrong expectation.

It was noticed that the newer tracking numbers end in "CH" for China, instead of "HK" for Hong Kong.  Either they moved operations, and Chinese post sucks Wink Or HK being part of China, they forced the tracking numbers also to be CH ?

Yup, my new tracking number starts with rp instead of rb and ends with ch instead of hk. Whatever it is, it is taking time to settle new changes with chinese post and get used to it.

Why blame poor Jason for problems beyond his control. BTW off topic check these out. What more can we expect from HC! Jason you rock!

It turns out the big shipping delays are due to HK being caught shipping large lipos via air parcel.  Additional screening was instituted on all HK parcels. They claim to have things back under control.

I have never had an issue with HC or that matter lowpricerc.com. Only once did I try to bite more than what I could chew wherein I had to go to Mumbai and sort things out at Ballard Estate(Customs). All I had to show them was the invoice. Thereafter I have never had a problem.Clap Off late I have been receiving shipments within ten days.  Clap
