Hi friends.

How much time do you think http://flying--rc.blogspot.com/ takes to ship models after payment is made.
i am having a tough time figuring it out , as i have paid up about a month back and still there is no news about my model.
Please advise.

Same with me  :) Waiting for my f-16 ...from last more than 25 days.... but I guess its normal...as they are importing this stuff and a little delay is natural.

Then it makes more sense ordering ourselves from hobby king as it works out cheaper and also you get it in hand in 14 days max.
what is the use of local hobby shops????????????

I too want to put order for Tx/Rx. I have asked praveen sir for his A/c details. I have sent PM as well as email. No reply  :'(.....

Is everything alright with him??

Praveen is out of India for some days....so people might face some difficulty in getting replies via PM. please email him.

Actually no response on emails too...most of  the time he reply from his blackberry but I guess on international roming he is not even receiving his emails too.... :P

I thought his setup was not a one person shop... could be wrong.  Looking at this and Indian Hobbies situation, it is true that most LHSes are one person efforts.  Guess it allows to keep the costs low.  Response via email would be a nice though, or an automated vacation message to emails !

Hey guys i had ordered for a HK radio from him and made payment. He had to get it shipped from HK. It got stuck in customs and took quite long. He refunded the entire amount promptly.

Dont worry, you money is safe with him :)

Guys, I think while we may all trust Praveen and few others like him, but still at one point he is selling an someone else is buying. So it is mandatory that the seller be upfront about the delays. Further, if the person is travelling and may not be able to respond, why can't he post/update this fact in his website? Would have solved all commotion

I am posting on Praveen Sir's behalf. All of your order are in the dispatch area. Your order will be dispatched in a day or two. Indian customs had destroyed the packing completely. So your orders were repacked using boxes made on order and backed up with wood in some. Very very sorry for the delay.

Indeed I am interested to buy HK6DF 2.4 GHz + one extra receiver and have sent PM and email to Praveen sir. I am in receipt of your PM which you wrote on behalf of Praveen sir stating that my Tx/Rx will be shipped tomorrow.  But you are putting me under lot of obligation as I have not yet paid a single penny to him. Also you do not have my shipping address.  I have a strong suspision that I am not the rightful receiver of parcel you would be shipping. Please clarify.

I think the problem is sorted out.
I wanted to buy a 40 size Spitfire from him and sent a mail. The first reply came after 7-8 days.
After that i have got prompt responses. And i was told shipping would be 4-5 days after payment me. on the 4th day the tracking number was emailed to me and the model arrived in good condition within the next 48hrs.
second time i bought from him. this time the initial response was a little delayed, maybe he was out of town; but once i paid up, the service was good.
I will start my own humble assembly log for this ARF in a day or two.

P.S. I think we should clarify on the forum if any issue has been satisfactorily sorted out by a LHS or other seller. Not just post complaints and leave it at that.

Praveen bhai - Please put an email auto-responder if response to emails are going to be delayed.  Just a simple notification of the expected delay would greatly enhance customer confidence, and help avoid negative feedback.
