Over the last few months, I have been offering these kits on the forum. They elicited tremendous response from the members. I am very grateful to all those who supported me in this venture. Sadly, I will not be able to continue this anymore. Purely due to the hassles and headaches involved in packing one or two kits individually. Further, courier services are proving to be a letdown and I have not been able to chase up on individual deliveries and tracking numbers. So far, everyone had been very patient and kind with delayed deliveries.

One prospective customer (forum member) had been repeatedly sending PM's asking for these kits and I have despatched the last Follow Me / Magpie Glider to him atleast 2 days ago. I am yet to receive the tracking number from M/s Professional Couriers. Had I sent it through DTDC, the charges would have been Rs.150/-.

In response to this delay, this is the PM that I received from the forum member. At this stage and age in life, I don't think I need to go through with this for a transaction worth Rs.150/- or less (or any amount for that matter).

This is my reply to the gentleman concerned:

"This is the first time that I have received such an insulting mail.

Please let me have your account number and let me know how much I owe you for the 2 Ornithopters. Please include your courier charges also.

As and when the Magpie reaches you, you can keep that too as a gift.

By the way, your Ornithopters reached late last evening and one of them was broken in transit.

Please don't ever PM or contact me again."


I publicly apologise to the gentleman for the inconvenience caused and take the entire blame for this delay.

Henceforth, I will entertain only bulk orders (minimum 5 pcs of Boat / Glider kits per consignment) from all members.

I hope everybody will appreciate the situation that I am in.

I tried to PM you but i am not allowed (don't kow why). am interested in the basic balsa gliders for my nine year daughter. can you mail me the prices for the same. (I know that you will only take bulk orders).

it happend some times , may be when the other party is in  panic and the members who have joind recently , dont know the other members past repo.

I have decided to mail the gentleman a cheque for Rs.150/- to cover the costs of the Ornithopters. I had asked him for his bank details and he refused to give them to me, saying, "...Money is not a matter for me...."

I have apologised and will send the money. Let this chapter be closed here.
