When he came into the scene, things were very expensive. Hobby belonged to only the high and mighty, those who could get stuff from US and UK. Probir Da ! Made desi stuff (True Make in India stuff), sold things at rock bottom prices, he basically turned the whole thing on its head. Air NCC benefited the most. So did many Air Defence units of Indian Army, they got very cheap models to shoot at and break. His aluminium Foil covering was unique and most sold item. May he fly with other modellers in the heaven. RIP Probir Da ! PS Whenever this thread pops up ! i feel sad and heavy !! :( |
