Guys,

I just noted that when I open http://www.helipross.com from home, it shows up diffrently and when I open it from office, it shows differently (no technical support banner, the layout etc., the site colour is still the same with the same top banner.). Iam not able to login at all from my office to that site. when I queried my office IP from some ip detection site, it says "Singapore Telecommunications" as Office ISP.

Anybody face similar issues with helipross or other sites Huh?

I have faced similar DNS/IP issues access Mitja's site (designer of Guppy glider). If you are not doing any financial transaction or have your Credit card detail saved at Helipross site, you can access any free web proxy site and open Helipross site from their interface. They may just throw you the option you have been looking for.

I dont think its dns issue, looks like Helipross is detecting Ip and preventing some country people from ordering from them.  Head Scratching

It was me having DNS issue with Airtel at home. You have IP issue as you seem to know. Log in from Free proxy site and they wont put this filter. Else wait till you come back home..

It is based on cookie settings on, geolocation (automatically determining of physical location from IP address) etc.  It is further influenced by the content filtering systems used at the company and ISP level.

I tried everything and concluding that its IP. coz cookie settings / company filtering has nothing to do with Login/password mismatch + help banners not showing up and layout slightly changed. I will post screen shots wait. Its fun.

Will post from office tomorrow.

+ when I click tracking on the top right, it takes me to taiwan tracking.

When I click from office the same link, it takes me to HongKong Site.

I am talking in general about what influences the content delivered by many websites (that have the intelligence built-in to adapt based on these).  In many cases, the company's main gateway to the open internet may be in a completely different country, which will cause unexpected results based on geo-location.
