90% or more of my RC stuff are HK (Turnigy mostly). And that much is my satisfaction level about them. Value for what you pay and sometimes more.

HK is improving in leaps and bounds. I placed an order on Monday, it will arrive Monday or tomorrow if out post office would open. The quality of planes is climbing dramatically. In earlier times it was pot luck if you got a good one, today it's the opposite. I haven't had a bad plane  (apart from a broken clevis) for 6 months. I have purchased 28 planes in 18 months and 25 were from HK. I have my own stock of parts so if I hit the deck the wrong way I have everything I need to get back in the air. I could never afford that through a LHS. Their pot luck Freebies are great, I just won a new plane Plug and fly no arf.

Many people put them down but that's normal for any big company. I've had a few minor complaints but everything was worked out. One good part of being a member is they make you feel like part of the family. Occasionally I might get sent to bed without my dinner :-) but overall I simply wouldn't buy anywhere else. And no I don't work for them, get any bonus for saying this or anything but the satisfaction of helping someone buy their hobby needs a lot cheaper. Freight is of course another matter but wherever you shop via the net freight is involved. HK don't make profit from freight so it's postal services and airlines putting the prices up. Try the new NTM motors, they are the smoothest and quitest motors I own. And cheap too.

China is starting to get it's act together. HK is becoming a force to be recognised with warehouses opening all over the world. Low prices PLUS lower freight prices really cap it off. I use Paypal and HK absorb all fees Paypal charges so even that is cheaper. I average about $400.00 a month with Hobbyking although that's dropped a fair amount due to running out of room to hang my aircraft plus my wife has said "NO MORE" but I sneek one in every now and then.

Regards  Stu

May I ask what was gained by this poll? What was the reason for it being run.
Polls are usually run to prove something one way or the other but for the life of me I fail to see any reasoning behind this one. The voting is very much in favor of HobbyKing which doesn't surprise me and no matter what a poll is run for there will always be the knockers. I can't say I blame a lot of pro HKers for not posting. Perhaps they don't wish to upset the small hobby outlets or maybe they prefer to keep their business dealings to themselves and no doubt many more reasons.

Just interested, that's all.

This poll had a reason!
To find it out, you will need to match the date this thread was created with the posts created around that date in the "Anything and Everything - Hobby King" thread. You will then have your answer.

Sorry I asked a straight question. A link would be better than sending me on a search. I simply dont have time to play games. Just a link please or possible a straight answer  would be preferable. Thank you.

Stu

Hi Stu,

If you have just search with "Anything and Everything - Hobby King" as suggest by raja_mastana you would have got it as first result perhaps we always have some discussion going on in that thread hence its always listed in the "Recently Updated Topics" on the hompeage
