Have been checking several links on Google for the Align TRex 100 kit. I guess it doesn't come with a Tx.

Have you even compared the price before virtually advertising these items ? They have virtually NO details/description. So, there are chances that you may get a completely different thing than what you expect! Like the T-Rex heli, which most jumped to conclusion to be a 450 class one!!!

Flipcart's Toy store specially the radio controlled Items is looking like in a very nascent stage. If the product description is missing from the product page than for sure their support representatives also do not know about these products. Most RC items (Helis and parts) they have described in Height, Length and Width. But Flipcart is a no nonsense player in online shopping, they add categories one by one, last they added Personal Care products about 2-3 months back and now that store looked like in a mature stage.

BTW I have seen Syma helis also there.

Only a few months ago personal health care was just a section with shavers, trimmers, thermometers etc. just bunched together randomly without any proper description or any classification. Now if you look at that section, it has many more products but properly organised in categories with proper descriptions and reviews.

I think the price on a lot of the proper rc stuff(what ever they have) is nearly double or more of what LHS are selling right now.

I got the follow up call from Flipkart and its confirmed the Heli is Align Trex 100...and it will not have the batteries. I asked about the transmitter but the guy who called me had no clue about.

He said, they have to contact the manufacturer directly when some one asks them question !

You should have mentioned remote and not transmitter..anyways if he is saying without batteries I suppose they mean remote batteries..if as per current ir  helies..heli lipo is integrated into the circuit and comes pre soldered

I asked "Remote control" and he wasnt sure...anyways I am also waiting for update. I almost bought it today...but then I have been flying small helicopters...my next stop is 6CH...so saving each rupee towards that.

Yes. Almost double. And you can no longer count on these 'Reputed' Desi online stores. I have heard all stories about them and have had rather unpleasant experience with Myntra.
So till they settle things down and develop rapport, its better NOT to shop from them. They are known to fast to deliver, but too slow to process returns and refunds (if at all)

I got a call from the same Mr. Aman, of Flipkart, who confirmed that the package included a Transmitter and 4 Zinc Carbon batteries for the 'Transmitter / Remote'.

" Sir, it is all included in the product package".

Amit_delhi, I think we are all on the same boat. Though we are all salivating, we refuse to believe. Its just a matter of time till one of us receives the product and then................ or

On the second thought...there is one question coming to mind is

Entering big players like flipcart, junglee, yebhi, wohbhi into niche markets like RC is good / sustainable move? because these niche markets needs specialised technical know how and a feel for the products and hobby, will they be able to deliver it?
