I'm trying to order some stuff from tower hobbies
A friend of mine is in the US and i'm asking them to deliver to that address.
I'm using my ICICI debit card and giving the billing address as my house address. But they are not able to accept a payment.
Anybody who has ordered earlier, can you please suggest how to get around this??  Help Me Bang Head Huh?

Wouldn't it be easier if you ask your friend to pay (hopefully he has a US based credit card), and then pay him in India ?

payments.

FLY HIGH...!!!
In Tower u can only use credit card..I've ordered once n got the parcel without any issues..In hobby king u can use either credit card/debit card/paypal..

Using a credit card, you can order from India and get the items shipped to an address in US. There are no issues with it

Debit card transaction needs to go thru the issuer bank's own gateway and not the common gateways (Visa/Mastercard) provided to Credit cards. Thus Debit card with 'Visa' tag is different from a Credit Card from Visa.

Apart from Credit cards, see if Towers accept Western union money transfer.

@all: thanks for your responses.  Thumbs Up Towerhobbies told me that i can use a debit / credit card. It doesn't matter to them. Shocked Looks like it does.
Anyways i will try with credit card and update what happened.

I've not used debit card..Recently i've placed my first order in hobby king..While selecting the payment mode it showed debit card option but u have to pay 1% extra if u use debit card..So I used my credit card..

hi all,
 a lot of companies will not ship unless the billing and shipping address is the same, This to avoid fraud, which is on the rise, and is for the benifit of the card holder, may appear frustration.

I just came to know that HK only accepts credit card, i have only debit card.
What should i do now.
I have to make a payment of $68.24(all inclusive)

Can anyone help..? or pay from his side, i am ready to pay extra for that

Mugen Seiki Rules
Tower hobbies now accepts international paypal payments. HobbyCity, RCmart etc accepts paypal. Paypal, I feel is the safest way to pay.
