All the freebies and bonus point redeem comes from hidden purchase cost.
This things are fancy with western world where they can enjoy.

But in India, a third world country, the scenario is different.
All thinking for the single purchase only, and bonus points is valueless as next purchse is uncertain.
And free items ? We, know the cost of original item increased for free item. So, we can ask to give concession in exchange for the free item.

And, we want the items as cheap as possible, and that will definitely give you a margin in PRICE WAR. I know that either you or VK can give the BEST (yes not better) price for items if you want, at least from my experience.

As, VK's site is down, I am afraid off if he adds similar items. . If all LHSs implement this type of things and increased price, we user have to IMPORT directly. United order hastles can be handled unitedly and pressure will be less.

Every website has it's own features and ways to implement these features.
In my website, I have not increased the prices at all... A regular visitor will notice that. The only deflections in price were due to the change in Dollar Price. But as USD is down, the prices are also down, to some extent.

I cannot reveal the calculations out in the forum, but no extra cost is added to the existing price of the product. We have been cutting our margins to give you bonus points and free items.

Also, we have multi level user system. As and when you keep on placing orders, we upgrade your membership on our website depending on the total amount to orders you have placed. Each level you are upgraded, you get a discount on almost 90% of the items on our shop.

Even after the discount on level upgrade, you are entitled to the freebies and bonus points. Kalyan, you have already been upgraded. You can test out the system if you want.

The prices are low, extremely low, these features are not to gather more profits, but to increase customers on the websites. These come at a cost to the Shop Owner.

it's a fault of my to express this type of language in Public forum which comes from frustration and we should always hide our personal feelings and experience so that it cannot reflect on our workings while taking any decision/judgement/remark. Actually by 3rd world people's behavior or in small 3rd world country we, civilians (& being a part of Govt Executor Body) express the Habits / BAD-Habits mostly which is always present and we have to defeat in each and every step and found dominant in Puja & March time you know .

It's truly depend on what meaning you found mostly using it surrounding all times. I have not meant for POOR but the Statistician & Analytic behavior while giving/making judgement each and every minor decision.

Of course, this critical behaviour is related with Income and strugling behaviour to SURVIVE or you can say Analytic Behaviour proportional to monetary value of that particular person's time. And actually it can be expressed in a weighted sum of past times.

........where K=time in year, taking an average indian person with average memory.

Though In India, per capia income increases, but 98% of national income is with 2% Indians (Statistical Figure). and it cannot be neglected. And we have to express average (or the majority), while expressing any object.

And even if any person got boosted in next level in monetary step, he cannot change his behavior immediately with upgrading but the effect is seen in his next generation (Appx. 15-20 year LAG). It's true.

And like you have ALERGY with the word "THIRD WORLD PEOPLE" I have personal alergy with
calling me BOSS as in college, it has been severally explaned with "Brother of $#@& Sister" and I cannot forget that. (My BAD MEMORY), Very SAD.

In this regard, analysing my own behaviour also follow the formula, while Govt. pays me Rs250/Hour, for decisive power, I use the same bargaining 0.5 hour for Rs.2/- (2>125 ! ), 2 hour journey and rigorous search for saving Rs.20/- (20>500 !)and this can not be suppressed. Even most of the modellers under-use  his/her decisive Power while purchasing anything and making a 5k model using his/her 50k time, you also checks price while purchasing anything, even a servo. Just check the time in internet while searching, and the cost of the time, you will realize yourself. Please Excuse me unnecessary pointing you while explaining.

And lastly, the behavior fancifully expressed as ANALYTIC BEHAVIOUR and in civilians turm 3rd World People Behavior"

I'll say for Rchobbyaddict, they are doing a good job, has taken initiative to make lives of other hobbyists easier, if anything we should appreciate and support the fact. And encourage them more.


And i think its rude to say in bold "We want cheap, No free gift", but that's just me. There is a reason for these types of promotions, they have been based on lots of marketing strategies, loyalty system, and yes customer psychology and research. Hobby is an area, where you wont buy something just because you're getting it 10% cheaper, for e.g. right now i am into cars, i wouldnt buy an air Tx set or an RC boat even if they are giving 50% flat discount, because i dont care for that stuff. However i do pay 10$ shipping for a 19$ hop up part that i need for my car.

We hobbyists gotta buy what we gotta buy, we will find it, and if required, import it and will be paying shipping and customs, the hobby isnt for cheap, we all know that, when we got into it, we knew what we were getting into.

They are not promoting one time sales, they are promoting customer loyalty. And bonus points effectively do have some monetary value, you can redeem them.

India is a free country everyone is entitled have an opinion, i absolutely have no problem with anyone's opinion, but publicly criticizing like that, looks rude to me, and if were the owner, i'd be pissed. I would have preferred someone telling me all this via PM rather than public post. Even if it came through public post, i would have preferred it as a suggestion rather than criticism, based on the presumptions that hidden costs are involved.

Some of us tend to think that all people in western countries are are rich and spend lavishly, not even in those countries everyone into this hobby is able to afford a RC gear of his total liking. Why blame the LHS they are not here to do charity
they will make profits and they should,nothing wrong.
And India with all its problems is still one of the greatest country.We just started the race late but we will soon cache up.
