Congrats, VKSingh.

Starting business will require more materials in a limited fund. Therefore low cost materials and common items that sell soon would be better. Of course a few items are required to show that, related items are also available here and bundled purchase reduce postage.

Rates are attractive. A few 2-4 gram servo will be better.Would you please include a few basicTx/Rx Set(22-24$)? Crystal pairs?(300:Rs: in local electronics market) (Plz. import/order Tx/Rx Separately so that it will not affect your other materials.) Plz note that Tx/Rx systems are prefered for purchasing inside India to common aero-modelers.

Incorporating Tools is a good idea. A few multiple-head screwdriver (Costs around Rs.100) and diamond file set/other fine file set with other tools may be attractive. But don't stock tools in large quantity as it will be purchased by any hobbyist once or twice.

FeviKwik 20ml CA Glue that fits inside the box and price is low but not available at every place can be sold though profit margin is very low.

Plastic Props for Electric & Rubber models including TAN-Sport rubber would be attractive including nuts & washers or optionally prop saver.

Idea about postage charges for different metro city would be better depending packaging weight/Volume. You may include IR controlled microRC planes/Helis that may optionally be purchased for gift with other items. (16-22$). (to save postage and foreign purchase delay).

Manav
, You need a 12 (11-18 truely) Volt power supply that is not included. If that's input support, you can safely charge.

Thanks

Hi Vivek,
Congrats for your website. hope to reach a perfect B2B website.
I have noticed one thing. every time i clicked a product link, it says "transfering data from hobbyking.com"
are you using the direct link to point the product pictures onto your website?
if that is the case, then you are wasting the bandwidth as well increasing the processing time.
I suggest you to click your own photos and use it.

Sandeep

I Think Hobbyking Server is quite fast and good maintained due to online business but got slower when that site is in rush or the client connection is slow. I recomend to use your own server of course free, like google. you can upload your picture in google site and give the picture's link as image. This will load faster but cannot solve the problem if the client connection is slower. ;D

But added advantage of your linking is that your google pagerank will improve as the pictures will loads from Hobbyking, the most popular site and your site subject is related to that (Cross-linking). ;)

However, we, the modeler need the product with quality with low price. (:|~

Your referral link is a smart use I appreciate.

I request to add more contact details like postal address or phone no (With Timings) will generate more confidence to modelers and clear confusion if any.  :headscratch:

Thanks.

Depends on your setup.  Who did the website for you ?  Is is shared hosting ?  Did they use some old version of Joomla ?

Keeping sites protected takes some planning and diligence (and even then you never really know!).

U can try to delete the hackers index files....and again upload u r site files...

Title: Re: My website www.rcelectro.com
Post by: anwar on December 01, 2010, 02:31:07 PM
So I guess you got a shared hosting account with some kind of control panel (Plesk/CPanel etc), and then used that control panel to install Joomla ?  Did you pick up the latest version of Joomla ?

You have to close the hole used by the hacker to get in, otherwise this will repeat again.

Not sure if further discussion should be public or via PMs !

Actually i do packing from hard board and thermocole and many times use HK packing if the parcel is big one. The above packing was done from a old box lying with me. I try to reuse the packing. As it saves cost and environment.

Hi, vivek,

Though this is not directly related to RC, why not keep some rubber powered prop and some tan sport rubber? They costs very less when bulk ordered. Even you can keep full fledged rubber powered glider and winder too. Might VC and Saikat can help you
This can be added with normal order. Normal 3"/4"/6" Nylon Rubbers are frequently required also while fixing Wing with fuselage. This items are little but required

Thanks

Thanks Vivek Sir, though we had dealt only once yet, yet its really nice. the packing u made had been consumed in my model itself. so, no wastage.  "Go,Green".And the declaration made by u is really a safest way to deliver products,it makes it doubtless for courier guys.hence no delays.
I appreatiate. Keep it up.  :salute: :salute: :salute:

It's not a suggestion just my opinion because I feel that your website is the best looking and most organised.
