Haa haa Smiley Nice question... Quality my friend... Use it and then you'll know. Trust me. Worth every penny spent. For a hobby like RC, where electronics need strong solder joints, these kind of soldering irons are recommended...

Moreover, you are getting a soldering stand along with it!! So the combo does not make it that expensive:)

soldering iron stand can be easily get for 60/- and you can make it even with 20/- + labour
However, lead-free solder can be used only with temp controlled iron (Can go higher temp) and less worn prone tip. you will definitely love it. But price is really matters to budget conscious modellers.
They are advised to short the internal 1N4007 diode inside their regular soldering iron and regulate through Fan dimmer. But, tip erosion will be faster than previous for high temp. and possibility of dry soldering with regular solder may occure if you use at higher temp.

Lead free solder(Silver-cu-tin) should be bundled with this for maximum utilization.

Very strange.... how the whole indian market is after cheap products and quality products are criticized over prices.

Someone complains about china making cheap products having no life and quality on the other hand, good quality products are criticized over prices...

Tools are the most important part of the hobby. You buy and break models. But you do not buy tools again and again.

Just sharing what my customers have to say after purchasing my tools....

The screws stopped rounding off after they started using bondhus tools!!!
Many have even rounded off their HEX Nut on RC Car Wheels after using cheap and locally available tools.

Using good tools always pays off. I am not a professional flyer, but I do not believe in taking chances with delicate equipment.

Either it is Bondhus HEX Tools or these soldering tools, they will never get you into trouble!!!

Prices are good. And good tools are expensive....

Thank for your clarification. Nobody is criticizing anything.

The indian market understands what cheap products and quality products are..

However, If a buyer feels its expensive its his right to talk about it..

Prices are good ? Who decides that ? Buyer or Seller ? I guess both..

Good tools are expensive and nobody denies that but again it depends on the product. Blaming the indian market is not a good idea, especially since u are selling something..hehe..

All the best..

I am not blaming the market my friend!!! I am not blaming anybody. And I just think that looking at the price tag is ok. But the prices are not that high that they need to be discussed upon every post I create about it..

Anyways. I must apologize if I was harsh.

Anam bhiya,
I don't wanted to hurt you. But the drawbacks are really drawbacks.

1. You see, The plug Top is not an Indian one and the soldering iron body (Metal portion including tip) is not earthed which is somewhat risky while handling memory chips and MOS devices. So, though ESD safe written, it will not be ESD safe until you use proper plug socket outlet which have earth pin instead of hole. Ultimately not ESD Safe.
Ref : http://electricaloutlet.org/
http://whatoutletandvoltage.com/electrical-outlet-and-voltage-information-in-chad/
It is written as plug socket as type B.

But in picture it shows type F Schuko outlet

Solution : Cut plug top and fix conventional three pin plug top.

2. The tip pattern is for micro devices are purely pencil point with tungsten costed very good quality. So solder retaining in Tip is not occur at all. But the disadvantage is it go up for silver tin solder temp and 22swg solder wire (regular lead-tin) soldering need expertise, otherwise it will dry too fast. A newcomer learn quickly, but oldies having bad habit make dry soldering too much. Again withdrawing excess solder with tip is a drawback for it's advantage (Of course this is old people's bad habit that they use soldering iron for the work of desoldering pump and desoldering net/mesh).

3. This is not coming with temp control option. so where your supply voltage dips beyong 200 volt, don't use it. you will not get the temperature. It is not the fault of the tool but of our supply system.

4. for the same reason, if your supply system voltage is over 235 volt(specially in night), solder under ceiling fan.

5. It comes with regular cord length. So you may need extension.

6. It has no indicator inside. So, always sense heat before touching hot area.

7. if you are new, you shuld start with this. If you are old, you have to forget the bad-habits of soldering for using this.

8. Don't even try to reshape/change this iron,s bit. Not required. But reshape your soldering thoughts.

Experts may remark in more details about it's advantages and disadvantages with their vast experience.

Afterall Lord Viswakarma have become Lord Viswakarma for his proper tools. So use proper tools and with proper technic.
