Is anyone here experienced buying from RC-Fever.com ?? I got an email from them with their new shipping policy, looks lucrative because their shipping cost is pretty low compared to HK. I'd like to know about their customer service, if they provide genuine parts and their quality etc... I am more interested as they have lots of Align T-Rex 500 upgrade parts. I got the following email from them: Hi DhruvChokshi, Good news! New shipping method, save almost 50% at RC-Fever! Why? We always keep our best to give you more choices when shopping at RC-Fever. We know that you may not willing to pay USD6 to ship a USD0.99 spare part. Do you know why you need to pay USD5.4 but not USD1 for the postage? Do you think that RC-Fever take those money as part of our profit? Let's see what are you paying for the online shopping, not only at RC-Fever.com
Even you buy a USD0.99 spare parts, you paid USD5.1 for the shipping, actually, we are losing $$ when post the package to you! That is another reason why most of the online store has the min. order amount requirement. As the less item you buy, the most we loose! RC-Fever never has min. order requirement, we don't do this in the past, and we promise we do not do this in the future! What RC-Fever.com do to help me save $$? We give you choices! The main different between Air Mail and Air Mail Registered is the tracking no. fee It is fixed USD2 per shipment. So, if you compare USD3.1 and USD5.4 shipping fee, its big different to help you save USD2.3 which save 43% in shipping fee! We do our best, we always give our buyer more choices. They reached in 3 days with only one shipment having a small duty charge . One time i did have a problem with one battery out of 3 lipos 2200 mystery . I informed them and they didnt require any pictures or anything just requested me to send it back or pay half the price of the same battery (10$original so 5$) and they would ship me one for free so i just went for the second option . and all was good :D .
I Mainly ordered Esky products and all came in original packing . Ordered a lot of stuff like servos batteries blades ESC etc . All fine , good quality . I just placed my first order from hobbyking a week ago and i dont think i will be again . Its already 20 days and i suppose this is normal on air mail . but since i have been used to rc-fever i guess im a little impatient . I could have ordered the similar products from rc-fever and may be paid a 1000rs more (shipping dhl) and would have had it in 3 days no hassle . so may be that 1000rs is well spent and maybe not for others . this is just my view and your experience could vary .
