From next month we will ship from UAE, India and China hence we are testing our new website with multiple shipping and payment methods.

Website looks good and easy to to search the products i want to buy. But putting costs of all 3 warehouses below the product doesnt help. China warehouse has most products half the price of indian warehouse :o :headscratch:

@rcbazaar can I do this with multiple accounts just to increase the chance of winning.

1. Shipping charges from UAE and HK is not clear to me. Seems that only Bangalore and pune store shipping charges are shown. Shipping charges from UAE or HK is not shown in separate.
2. Does we have to wait for custom clearance of the materials or it will be your headache, if any separate clearing charges or br1bes required.

Pune or bangalore store indication not shown in site as separate shipping will be required for them or single shipping will be sufficient, is not clear in new website.

Idea-1 : Cuttlement of Shipping Cost...
Look, Most of us keep some spares extra and that is why we can wait more if we need to pay less (Some people may say as typical Indian mindset where time is cheaper ). And at the same time bulk shipping price is much much cheaper. So Can we book some items monthly or bi-monthly or even six-monthly basis (of course by advance deposit the item cost only) so that they can be shipped internationally and then divided and shipped from bangalore warehouse. This can surely cuttle the price of shipping.

Idea-2 : Using Advance fund option
You can think for advance payment and keeping the money in his name which can be utilized during the purchase specially giving a) preference to those customer on the high demand products. This can also give some extra advantages b) specially when online transfer or banking service or payment gateway disturbed. Typical Indian mindset will rely only you as you have sufficient fund [ seems to us seeing increase business] and we should not cheat. You may think even for some interest just like electricity supply company.

Idea - 3 : Pick Up Point in Metro City
You may think off some metro city point like in store pick up having very low shipping cost [due to bulk shipping] as most of the office hour timing, we stay outside and the delivery guy generally give them to our parents or sometimes they returned back due to "door closed." This will not require much space like a full flagged store set up with display and salesman. Some University aeromodellers group or your trusted person/shop can  do the work.
Newspaper distribution points (from where newspaper delivery person took their paper in everyday morning, which is a very active and established network) can be utilized for distribution too or like pick-up point. They know each and every door better than courier guy.

Of course these are just new ideas which you may think off. But as the responsibility is yours, you have to decide to which is better safer cheaper and OPTIMUM as you have not only spares which does not need precious handling but also bulsa models/kits or other models that needs attention.

Wow amazed by prices but not able to open the used items section

Well One Thing I Didn't understand from china warehouses the prices are really less that means next month if we a order a radio from a Chinese warehouse so will the WPC problems or the radio Problems again come in the customs as usual??

If you order from china or UAE warehouse its exactly like ordering from other online stores out of the country.. you will have to clear the goods from your side. However the warranty of the product will be applicable anywhere... meaning if any product bought from china has a manufacturing defect then you can walkin or send the product to our stores in India and we will replace this asap... (Which unlike other online stores out of India you will have to wait for a month and more to get the product replaced).
so you will surely have a peace of mind in terms of the product’s quality issue.

Finally we had some great responses and dint expect the sheer quantity of responses we got both internationally and within India (in four digits). We have read EACH and EVERY comment and have already started made some very large changes on the website based on the feedback.

Another announcement is, we expected to launch the UAE warehouse on the 11th November 2014 but with the changes post the survey we are now looking to push the launch of UAE by another 2 weeks as there were some very valid points that were raised on the multiple warehouses module.
We will announce a new date of launch for UAE in a week or so.

Lastly the winner of this sweep stake will be announced tomorrow.

Whereas I have nothing but plaudits for your expansion into a chain of branches, I would like to bring to your attention a particular issue that I as a user have faced often.

The problem arises when a single order is divided into multi-branches because of stock availability. This gets exacerbated when the items are oversize leading to very high shipping costs. e.g. If I want to buy 1 sheet of balsa, 1000 mm X 100 mm X 6 mm and one sheet 1000 X 100 X 3 mm, and one size is available in Bangalore, the other in Pune, I am going to land up paying a very very high shipping cost, much much more than the product value. Further, the location is only apparent at the time of check-out.

This needs resolution.

Maybe a Central Warehouse for Shipments? With Branch Stocks only for Retail?

Thanks for the note and your views / suggestions duly noted.. we will check if the location can be made visible before checkout however this might turn to be a confusion on a later stage with more of our stores coming up soon locally and internationally. The ideal way as stated by yourself is to have a dedicated warehouse only for shipping however the only issue would be maintaining stocks in the warehouse and also at the retail store level which at this juncture might not be feasible. (not to mention the dreaded thought of dead stocks both in warehouse and the stores)

However there is absolute merit in thinking out a solution for this issue and any more feasible suggestions would be much appreciate from the group here.
