Hello to all RC Enthusiasts,

This being our first post from RcBazaar, we would like to announce the launching our online and retail sales unit soon this month.

I hope RcBazaar will help in expanding this hobby to all the new comers as well as cater to the needs of the RC experts in India.
 
We have been working behind the scenes for quite sometime now and are soon to stock
- foam planes (monster size and small sizes)
- fibre glass and balsa (3D models, sail planes and electric powered gliders as large as it could get like 4 mts wing span)
- accessories
- Heli kits with each and every spare for the heli being made available (this makes us the largest heli stocking store at this juncture in India)
- Radios and transmitter (LEGAL PERMISSION AND WPC APPROVALS ALREADY RECEIVED, so no hassles for any local authorizations when you are flying) and
- lots and lots of more products

We aim to price all our products at a very competative price (maybe lower than many online units operating from China).

My personal aim (being in this hobby for more than 25 years) is to get this hobby to the base level audiences like students, etc and we hope to acheive this in the years to come. 

Finally to introduce myself, I have been a part of this forum for sometime now under the user name of sujju. I will be migrating my username from sujju to RcBazaar in due course. Very few senior members in this forum have seen the preview of the rcbazaar site and the reponse has been good. I would like to thank Anwar and all the members of this forum who keep this hobby ticking.

On the contrary, I feel that with the great deals coming these days, there is more of a competition between buyers than between sellers :) Classic example : MPX stock at RCD :)

Hope RC Bazaar brings out great deals that benefits hobbyists across the country.

Firstly thanks for all the wishes and hope to meet all your expectations (if not most of them)... yes lipos are surely a part of the merchandise...

regarding pricing intentions are to compete with the overseas hobby units.. pricing to an indian customers  would literaly be same or less visa vis ordering from overseas especially the chinese ones (price of the product plus shipping, eg: cost of radio usd 100 plus shipping to india usd 35 = total usd 135, our intention is to beat this usd 135 or atleast maintain this price), other countries we are confident in beating the price.... Unless we really get bogged down by our local taxes.. all this will be solved in a couple of weeks.... the store will be ready in a couple of days time... i will post the layout of the store shortly..

That's a tall order you've got there and I hope you will be able to accomplish it. I'm sure there'll be a lot of support from all of us here! I just hope that the Indian tax system doesn't rear its ugly head too much!

Suggestion: Please try to keep the site clean in terms of product availability, as most of the LHS sites i seen have big list of product and written Sold Out in front of them. It's kind of funny to see such sites. Instead add a category like Sold Stock or something, as still people can see what type of stock you were holding and same time they can see the available stock without any trouble to distinguish it from sold stock :)

Also, i have submitted contact form on few LHS sites but never got response back from anyone. So this is the area where you can also keep an eye for better CS which shall differentiate you from others.

i may be wrong but this are me personal suggestions based upon my exp.

Clayboy, with a deadly fleet like yours - hanseliet, logo etc it will not be easy satisfying your needs  ;D... unfortunately i do not intent to stock outrage, thunderpower or flightpower type of lipos due to the high cost and am sure this will not move in here resulting in dead stock, however lipos on the same order of turnigy will be stocked with pricing similar pricing... however i will surely stock those hi-quality lipos looking at the demand equation but in low qty stocks first...

Anandrenuka and ankurkaul17... thanks for your comments, the site is very neat and clean (at least to my limited knowledge) and the products details are and will be in detail as much as possible... and yes, there will be NO ISSUES OF OUTOF ORDER in this retail unit as stated earlier this is a realtime inventory management system... if product out of stock you will not be able to buy it.. simple as it is so heartburns or post purchase dissonance in the business.

Am posting a layout of the store frontage and a perspective of the interiors which is undergoing some changes...dont know if this is relevant now but thought i will share this with the forum members here... and ah.. yes... there is a section in the store where you can practice you flying skills anytime on our simulator.. hope this helps someone to hone his skills  :)

you may like to connect the central LCD with simulator/Transmitter so that new people can feel the experience of HOW THINGS WORK .. just a thought , as many people may not understand why things cost this much and how it will be used or capabilities of it (I am just referring for newbies like me)

Also, on main board of your shop,  you may hang a model (not real) with a big prop rotating with slow speed and lights blinking..  it may sound crazy but you have to attract more of walk-in then online customers :)

you may consider to take a franchise of RC Bazaar, it will save goods sourcing efforts and combined sale quantity can help to get better buying price from supplier.

if things are not available there will never b a demand. , electric is the future. prise wise and performance and durability is superior if u r a frequent flyer, buy batteries 1 time and be happy for 2-3 years

who really want to fly nitro when it is hard to get nitro atleast if u like performace?and if flying heli u need a lot of it.

 it is demand here for raptors so i cant c why it would not work with big electrics.
i can in a way understand that rotorzone struggling with the compass models. not that it is a bad model but the 500 that they sell get competition from hk modells, not that i think a hk model will b cheaper in the long run nor even flying half as good but i guess it will attract a lot of buyers
bigger helis is another story, there is the heli kit % wise not the only thing that is expensive. here electronics and blades is a big part of the total cost , so quality matter if a crash is caused by poor quality and what u saved to start with got directly more expensive  .
  time for india to wake up and smell the flowers ;D

LOL.. dint notice this.. infact there is a spell difference atleast... rcbaazar to rcbazaar... and unfortunately clayboy, No logo stuff... you will get to see protos but and the rest of the 450 line ups... v2, v3/sport, pro belt and TT drive and the 500 size all kits, rtf's and with all spares.

lastly the site will be posted here for testing only for rcindia members by next week and there is a PRIZE OF SUPERCHIPMUNK or 9 CHANNEL TX with RX or a 450 v2 HELI with shipping anywhere in India.. will annouce this with details soon...

clayboy... my views on this... i dont think that we are ready for models like logo etc yet in india.. from my experience as a heli flier and also a future retailer... largest issues is cost... not just the crash cost but the basic cost of a kit and not to forget the lipos and the other electronics... eg, iam getting protos to india with the necessary spares but beleive me this will not be a hot seller as economies of scale work here especially when you are competing with the international retailers... yes these are high quality products but i think we are still in the stage or phase 1 of this hobby in india... logo and the likes are still a farcry and will take some time to reach.

Totally agree with Sujju Sir..i think economies of scale plays an important factor. RC is still in  initial stages in India.

Hello everybody.
Firstly thanks for all the wishes and response. Thought of giving an update to the members here, shipment has already arrived and are in await for customs clearance. Unfortunately we had a massive hurdle this week as WPC had issues with handing us the import license for the radios despite the ETA and other paperwork being formalised earlier, my colleague had to travel and literally had to lounge in their offices for 2 days and now by the looks of it the import license will be handed over by next week.
If bureaucracy does'nt show it head again we will have the goods cleared by next weekend.

However I plan to launch the site for comments and views hopefully this weekend and also for the members here to get familiarised with the site and give this opinions on the stock and recommend pricing if needed.
Again great to be here talking again and you will see the launch hopefully in the days to come.

Apologies for the delay in reply. Had been extremly busy with the WPC and great news for us today was, we finally got the import license from them today noon. We expect the customs to clear the shipment in a couple of days and in the meantime the G5 sim has been installed and guys here are welcome to practise here anytime.

I dont think it will reach just after 1 day of clearance, maybe if your lucky.
I ordered just one plane from HK and it took 3 days to arrive after clearance.

Apologies for the delay in reply ( i was travelling and could not take time to update here)...
Firstly thanks a lot for all the support and responses that we have got on the survey and also on the www.rcbazaar.com (http://www.rcbazaar.com) site. The delay in responding to all of yours query on launch date was due to the following:
- delay in customs clearance; (we have all the stock in-store now and we still are merchandising the same as we speak)
- we are undertaking a load testing on the site (this is the reason for the frequent disconnect of the website);
- integrating CC Avenue payment gateway for all local (within India) credit card and debit card payment customers;
- integrating an online chat helpline (this feature will be up in a few days time);
- updating the pricing on the website;
- merchandising the stocks in the store;
- finishing the store interiors;
- finalizing the right partner for shipping both locally and internationally (this will get finalized in a couple of days)
We will be announcing the winner of RcBazaar website feedback survey by next week on this forum (seriously THANKS FOR ALL THE FEEDBACK ON HOW TO IMPROVISE THE SITE and this will be an ongoing agenda for us).
It’s a matter of pride and pleasure for us to announce the launch date of RcBazaar in this forum - 11/6/11 (June 11th, 2011)

Sujju bhai - One thing I noticed is that the product images on the main page do NOT take you to the details of that particular product, but the images after you go into any product category DOES take you to the product details.  On the main page, you are forced to click on the "Details" button. Minor thing, but it would be good to fix.

As a child, I had a dream of running amok in a toy store. As an adolescent I dreamt of owning a hobby store. I see that store today. I didn't achieve that dream, but a dear friend (one that I've never met) did it for me.

So much true, really resembles a hobby shop in the west. We have similar setup by Rotor (Arvind) in Chennai and Model Art in Bangalore. With RCB and RCD in Bangalore, and the Jakkur debacle getting over with a runway in Hoskote, things can't get better for Bangalore flyers!!!

To indroduce my self: I am working as aircraft configuration design and performance engineer at a national project in NAL, thanks to RC modeling which feeded my hunger in physics and anti gravity machines(flying machines) and converted me from a basic mechanical engineer to a good aircraft design engineer.

Have participated in international UAV aircraft design challenges, fortunately won few international and national awards, learnt a lot and still hungry to learn more.:).. I was an alien to this hobby and many of this forum members have helped me a lot to learn, guided at the right time when required. esp uttam,sham,Dr prashanth, sanjeev, ragavendra, abhay, sam and their group..(mostly during jakkur flying days)

Oh sujju come on man.. In this family of RC guys we are interdependent..:) pls consider as a friend without saying formal words like thanks and all, I hope m not a stranger/guest to you.

Guys after speaking a lot to sujju and his initiative, I found that, here is a guy who has dared to dedicate/invest to fulfill everybody's dreams of flying by putting a clean neat realistic shop which is found in abroad(i visited few hobby shops in california & atlanta).

I see this shop (as compared to online buying)as revolutionary in India coz :

experience guys will buy stuff from a place where they get the best deals and customer support. But consider a case of a amature guy who has intrest in flying: This real shop is the one which fuels his dreams.

I mean this kid(kid for hobby irrespective of age) will come inside this shop and get a first hand experience on RC aircraft by touching it or feeling it, go to the flight sim and see if he can fly this,(many ppl are scared to enter this hobby just coz of a feeling that its difficult) and get convinced (for sure) , they buy (as its not at all expensive).. This over all experience will surely get more ppl into this hobby and thats why this initiative by sujju is revolutionary.

this guy i think has dared and invested about 2 lakhs for the sake of display and to give buyers a feel of aircrafts.

Other thing is he is very very open to comments/feedback, which is very essential for long run. so sujji bhai, we ll make sure we help you sustain this with success by especting good products from you and with our comments & feedback. I mean sujju bhai , if we feel that products are not good we ll come with a honest feedback and I am sure sujju will take it up. This way I think we can drive RCBAZAR in a positive way for both buyer and seller.

Sujju: I hope you get a good sales person who is a rc guy with passion soon. guys lets help him with this aspect till he gets a good sales guy..:)

Other feedback is that, Sujju pls concentrate on after sales support.. I had good experiences in RCD, sanjeev stays with me through the complete life cycle of the the product which I buy..I am sure you have this after sales service as a priority as you told me on sunday.:)

Ok one more thing I am not a partner to this business,, he he, I am just doing this expecting a good revolution in RC aviation in India.For a positive reason to get more and more ppl/kids to this hobby which is lot better than sitting at home and playing computer/video games.:)

RcBazaar is only taking a step forward on the path that was already laid by the likes of sai, sanjeev, rajesh, anam’s, arvind, praveen, vksingh, jack etc…(also other owners of LHS’s who I have missed here) but I am sure each and everyone of them have done good to this hobby. With all this collective work this hobby will grow at a faster pace and will also make sense and feasibilities for us to be in this business and grow it further.
As much as we would like to get a pat on the back and hear praises we are open to criticism and will try our best to take corrective actions if necessary. So pls do not hesitate to let us know or me personally if you have any issues with our service or any other matter as such (I will be on live chat on the website personally for sometime till we get our house in order).
The response from here (India) and also abroad to my surprise has been great and we hope to refurbish our stocks quite frequently (if needed) but pls do bear with us for the first 2-3 months as we still need to get our operations in place to perfection. Yes... Time does fly as it has been one fantastic year of RcBazaar's operations on 11 June 2012. I wanted to thank each member of this forum for all the support and wishes. During this year, we made loads of friends and hope to  meet more of you in the future years of RcBazaar.

Sustaining such a store at economical prices, in a price sensitive country with access to direct vendors like HK etc, is indeed a commendable job !!!

Thanks for this and appreciate your appreciation and hope to see you in store soon :-) .. infact we are just one year old TODAY and kudos to all the other LHS who have been much before us as we do now understand in detail the brunt of running a hobby store in India.. from low prices to customs charges to shipping to VAT to income tax to store operating cost etc... with all these its not easy to survive and flourish. However we plan to open more stores soon and are only in await for a decent place with not so high rentals.. once this is established you "might" see more of RcBazaar sooner or later... :-)

i  have had a b\very nice dealing with this LHS and am very happy about how it works...!

i would like to suggest to  you that the shipping to belgaum (500  KM intra state) for mere 4 props is costing Rs 148. that is on some part termed as expensive and for the same package it is charged at rs 50-70 via DTDC. I would also like to bring it to your notice that on your website does not show the weight on products and does  not allow to add small parts in the left over weight.

also your shipping charges are  not  transparent on the site.as  on  what weight what will be the shipping price. As a customer i would like to suggest you to heed on the above and make it a bit clear, so that we know where our  money is  going...

if i am missing on something i would love to know  if such is available and if i  have missed  out on it...!

thanks for the note... the shipping is calculated on the volumetric or actual weigh which ever is higher by the courier company... yes aramex and tnt within karnataka is expensive and we did try to deal the dtdc earlier but had series of issues with missing packages for which no one there takes responsibility...
we did and are in the process of working on taking weight or each products but this will take time as we have more than (3000 plus SKU's in store)... also the system stacks up the "virtual box" by adding the volumetric weight and the actual weight and compares with the standard box of the shipping company and gives the shipping cost... but i will look into this with our IT team and make this more easier for hobbyists like you

you should look some thing  for intra state... its toooooooo expensive... i even remember the last package a pair of  landing gears...just in a box of size ( 2in X 2in X 5in) costs me around Rs 90 which would have been done  in 40-50

I just want to spend some time to mention the excellent service from RcBazaar and express my sincere opinion about RcBazaar.

I visited this site few months back, with zero knowledge about CCPM helicopters and some one in the livechat had the patience to explain why these helicopters are expensive and why they are sold as "parts". It ignited the curiosity in me and I started learning more and more about this.

When I reached a knowledge level enough to at-least recognize the parts and assemble, I came back to RcBazaar to buy my first helicopter, and the service I received was excellent. I want to specifically mention the name "Dilip", who reviewed my order list, advised me on the wrong choices of few components, even called me on my mobile and explained me how I should go about all this.

Based on his advice, I made my first set of purchase and guess what , I got the parcel in my hands with in two days ! Yes, I order on a Monday night, I get the parcel in my hands on Wednesday night !

The quality of the parts are well worth the money you spend and I am 100% sure, there exists no other RC online store in the India (may be in the whole world also) that gives such excellent service with true passion.

I once again thank the entire team behind RcBazaar in their effort to spread the happiness for all Indian RC enthusiasts.

Yes, there are other shops and helpfull LHs too but RCBazaar is unbeatable & our pride and we should have to maintain by giving them orders.
Their price and stock is awesome. It's our duty to flourish the shop in different corners of INDIA.

Hi All,

Agrred , that rc material availability  at Rc Bazar is good ,but they are highly expensive in shipping charges and not transparent in this regard.

I have experience of two purchase attempt. In first attempt, I was told for  Rs 750- 850 as shipping charges for a 9 channel Tx , while the other shop charged only  RS 300 for a same item and  same courier.

In second attempt, I ordered some Carbon Fiber rods for Rs 410 , the shipping charges was not shown by website, I paid the money and received a call in evening for a demand of Rs 350 as shipping charges ( Inclusive of Rs 160 for a Card Board Tube ). I was surprised, that how they can charge Rs 160 for a card board tube and get refund of my money. other shop send the same with shipping charges of Rs 120 inclusive of same card board tube.

Made my first order on RCB a week back. Superb service. I ordered after lunch and since it was a bit urgent, I asked them to ship it the same day. It was shipped on that day itself and Blr >> Hyd, and I received it the very next day from aramex.
Excellent packing ,they used 2mtr of bubble-wrap just to pack 4 props. ;D

mohan, regarding your query.. we dont make money on shipping except for the cost of packaging and handling... i don't want to compare what other/s are charging as this is not my business... regarding carbon fibre tubes we use thick plastic tubes not cardboard tubes and they are sealed at both ends and this does not come cheap to us either... however as you were not ok we did refund the amount to you...
and yes we are also moving away from our current courier as we have had a lot of issues / complaints from customers and we are looking at bluedart soon

Good  :thumbsup: Rcbazaar if you are moving for other courier, because it is true that inspite after good pricing of products the final cost with shipping, becomes expensive. and the courier men demant money at time of delivery , saying tool tax etc etc. i had bad experience with them.

time is a real villian for me. I dissembled the frame and washed it as it had some grease or oil on one side. now its half assembled and I have difficulty assembling. will have to refer the align manual. probably i will get onto this during the weekend. I will start a new thread in case if i decide to pull on a build log !

I had some experience with RCbazaar too, Anything and Everything about them is just Perfect, customer services is fast, they are friendly, but only one simple little complain I must make is again the  shipping charge, I really hope they`ll take this matter seriously.

Hi all, am a happy customer of RcBazaar so far too :D Visited their store a month or so back...wonderful place and nice people. Didn't wanted to leave the place but had to go :( Anyway, got to mention that their service is one of the best so far in my humble opinion. Arun, its shipped to Nagpur which is closer.... not to God's own country ;) I will be collecting it from there. May be the distance difference played but I was really happy the way their team responded as I mentioned that its required urgently since am travelling a long way to collect it. It has to be there by then or I miss it completely, but they exceeded my expectations!!!

balsa would be available from tomorrow... we had been sitting on it in our warehouse from one month as unfortunately we dint have space to keep the same in the store.. but i believe the store team is working on this tonight and the buy button will be activated by tomorrow...

That is the gyrocopter. Seen a tiny rc model with Captain Randhawa about a couple of years back or so. Flies very slowly and gently, but a little finicky.

balsa wood is up on sale for online and walk-in's in bangalore store (except for carving blocks, which would be updated by tomorrow)... pune will be up by next week

I've visited your shop and Mr Aakash answered all my queries and recommended Avionic 7 channel controller.  I'm a beginer, want to buy Avionic 7 channel RC. I'm calling your B'lore shop daily regarding the arrival of new stock. But from the past one week they are telling it will reach the store in 2 to 3 days. Your website is also not updated. What about your new 9 channel one ?? Is it ready ? Is it good for beginners. If it is available I'l go for that.

Made my first set of purchases of rc-electronics and tiny bits with some balsa sheets last month and still waiting for much more balsa which are not in stock. My first visit was in mid-March and I was on cloud9 upon entering the Bangalore store! But still the stuff I wanted to get hold of [balsa] is not available so far since then. Also many tiny but essential bits are getting hard to find elsewhere too. Please look into the matter.

I guess it is too early going for foreign countries. You could have first established monopoly in the Indian market and then would have gone for foreign opening shops in delhi and kolkata first would be better, then you'll be having your shops on all the four corners of India.

OMG!! wanted a prop so just stopped by at rcb today and they took me by surprise!! rcbazaar.com is truely India's coolest hobby store!! the sab goblin had arrived and atleast 4 different FPV planes, and their Avionics brand is also growing, they now have their own professional charger at a affordable price and the goblin too was priced close to the price online!! lots of trainers for beginners at really affordable price, and imax authentic charger was also up for sale, and had a look at one of the fpv wings(2000mm) looked wonderfull and wanna know what they said??, they are getting a bigger shipment soon!!

This is surely a good sign of a Great LHS coming up!!

1. we will be opening our China warehouse in about a month and half.
2. we will be moving from our existing warehouse in RAK (Ras Al Khaimah) to a retail unit in one of the malls in Dubai in a couple of months time. Yes, Rcbazaar keeps throwing the same error sometimes. Specially if I click on a link to some product, not the mother site. Please fix this issue.

This issue happens when you go directly to a product page from external website.
Some, issue in detecting and setting the warehouse occurs and this error is thrown.
As you said, if you visit the home page first and then copy paste the product link there it will work.

I faced this problem, but I thought that this could be due my current location(Kuwait).

It has been sometime that we have posted here... but wanted to inform here that we are OPENING SOON IN MUMBAI.. the store will be located in GROWEL'S 101 MALL in Kandivali East.
We expect the launch the new store by May 2nd week 2018.. in about 2 weeks time...

They know their business best but I believe pushing only avionics won't work. And they need to do something with customs.

I feel they are promoting "MAKE IN INDIA"....we should support it as much as possible.....thanks again RCB

Avionics are not exactly make in India. those are imported from china. Only the foam templates they perhaps make here.

Seems RCB is out of Mumbai too. Only Bangalore in India.

Sadly ! Must consider a store in Delhi/Haryana. It should be ideally located in a place where people can fly.
