Title: RcBazaar
Post by: RcBazaar on June 11, 2011, 09:12:51 AM
Greetings Forum Members,

It gives me great pleasure to announce RcBazaar is NOW OPEN. A big thank you to all the members for their feedback and support, our team at the store have worked sleeplessly to see this day and again thanks to the Drone Team who were at the store the whole night helping us set it up (harsha, vivek, skanda and prajwal).
We will start operating the store from 10.00am today for retail and walk-ins (which we strong encourage so that you get a touch and feel of the products). Regarding shipping we are undertaking a test for the first 2 weeks where we will ship post payments of the shopping cart (meaning you will end up paying for the products first and we will come back to you with couple of options of shipping vide email and the cost of shipping, there could be instances where you might not want to get this shipped for which we will gladly refund your fully). We currently are working on a dynamic shipping calculator but would like to see the average transactions that we are getting on the shipping business, this will be launched in 10-12 days time.
We request you to bear with us for any inadvertent errors during the first 3 months of the business.

I again personally thank each and every one of you here and also thank my team for all their hard work in getting this business to a reality.
We are online on LiveChat for any queries, complaints or sometimes well wishes too.

Enjoy www.rcbazaar.com (http://www.rcbazaar.com) and see you soon at the store

Regards
Sujju
Team RcBazaar

And it is great to see one more source for WPC approved radios (and that too at great prizes).  Now this is the third such source in India (AFAIK).

The barrier for entry into the hobby has been greatly reduced recently, and this events takes it even further !

My Experience with RCBazaar -

First of all a big applause to sujju sir for starting such a huge enterprise.

Secondly their customer service is extremely superb and hats off to anup kumar.

I made my first purchase from rcbazaar and paid them by my debit card as currently my wife is swapping my credit card in full swing :D

For some reason the amount is not showing on their partner online portal support. I think I got this wrong :D

But sujju sir and their staff were extremely prompt in getting this resolved. Anup kumar got back to me on online chat from their website and assured me that I need not worry and they are looking into this. :)

Who would give such kind of service ? Am deeply satisfied with the entire process of buying from rcbazaar.

Congratulations once more.

prateek.. we are sorry that there are no descriptions an error and will be rectified immediately...

This basically is a 3 channel RC model made of foam and is ideal for beginners. as the name says its menat to be taken off from water but can also be hand launched and landing can be done on grass but again for any epo or eps i would recommend reenforcing with fibreglass tape etc....

Description:
width: 470mm
Lenght: 640mm
Weight: 310g
You can use your own combination of motor and prop according to you flying style and any micro servo will fit into this.
Kit comes with a manual
manufacturer recommends 1200kv, B36,  shaft:5.0mm.. prop 10x6 and a 40 amp esc (which i personally think is a over kill of such a small model) 30amp wouild be more than enough and yes 9 gms micro servos will be more than enough (pics added here of what the manufacturer recommends)
VC... thanks for the wishes and will pm you my number... Atul our pleasure and we will try to deal this with CCAvenue guys

Nice pricing. An table of postage tariff should be there and adding items to cart will calculate the weight and volume and can show the postage. Mr. Anup just told that that will be added withen a week.

We are expecting also gliders (Catapult and rubber powered) and kits in their update.
Grate offer.

Bye Bye ...............................HK         +        Risk
Welcome ...............................RB        +      Peace of mind.

Great prices on the heli spares, i wanted to check the quality of Hiller - hence ordered a few spares
Here are few observations on the online system

I think there is still some bugs left related to ordering.

for eg. i didnt click 'confirm order', but still order is showing in my account as 'pending' (# 95). It shouldnt be in my account right? since i didnt confirm

For other order (#101), i reached the success page on CCavenue and then clickd 'return to rcb'. But still order status is pending. It would be better if the status can move to second stage - 'paid' automatically

Title: Re: RcBazaar

hi, regarding your queries
eg. i didnt click 'confirm order', but still order is showing in my account as 'pending' (# 95). It shouldnt be in my account right? since i didnt confirm - agreed and this is being worked on and will be changed soon... the pending should be shown only when you confirm the order...

regrding order no 101... the status is saying paid as we still have not got your payment from CCAvenue and once it reaches us this will get changed to confirmed ,, later to processing and shipped..

Chief, you need to address a certain issue asap. I just bought something (Order # 103) on behalf of a friend in Cochin who does not have a Credit Card. Try as hard as I might  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:, I just couldn't get the RCB system to accept a changed shipping address. I was forced to type out a special instruction / request to ensure that item is shipped to Cochin and NOT TO Guwahati! :-\

Thereafter I received 2 emails, one from RCBazaar Helpdesk and then from CCavenue. The former still mentions Guwahati as the shipping address, the latter confirms Cochin as the shipping address. Please look into this and help out.

Thanks and Regards,

VC

Went there on 2 days. Opening day, as well as the next one.
Opening day, made some misc. purchases like hex Screwdrivers, Magnetizer/Demagnetizer and LiPo bag. 1st day I was in the showroom for about 4 hours. Checking out all the cool stuff! :)
2nd day, dad bought a Hiller 450 v2 without my knowing. Even he is super happy about it, and we both had an awesome time there!  :)

Thank you Sujju uncle, for such an awesome store! Would have never got into helis if it weren't for your store!

you are welcome divyam... am sure you will love heli more than planes... (am a convert from planes to helis).. and yes pls store the hex screws in a dry place as i got some of them here to bahrain and due to the moisture i saw some rust on the shaft which am not happy with and this has been taken up strongly with the manufacturer..

Hi All
I visited RCBazaar two days ago just to check out the place. Unfortunately Sujju was out of the country. However, I was lucky that Jatayu was in, building a 450 Beginners. Its really a fabulous shop. However, all credit to Jatayu, for all the help he gave me in selecting all my components for the 450 Beginners kit. In fact he was on the phone with Sujju getting his recommendations on what I should purchase. I spent more than two hours in the shop getting my stuff together and playing with the simulator. I just wish we had more LHS s like this in India.
Keep up the great work.
Regards
Pradeep

Hi,
Its great to have an exclusive RC shop in Bangalore (my hometown).

I want to if fiberglass cloth and Carbon fiber tapes are available. Its really hard to find it here in Hyderabad.

Any info would be great!!

fiber glass cloth yes, locally u can find it in places where they sell those Plastic roofing sheets  and carbon Fiber tapes!?? Nope! Carbon fiber is valued more than gold! where do u want to apply carbon tape?

Title: Re: RcBazaar
Post by: aeromell on July 24, 2011, 09:32:42 PM
Hi Jatayu,

I am using the carbon fiber tape to reinforce the foam wings. I've ordered for 3ft carbon fiber tapes from the US, but yet to come. I have the C185 Edomodel with water floats. Its been years since I last flew an RC. Was an aeromodeller back in NCC Airwing, so have passed my balsa sanding with flying colors  ;D.

Its tough finding fiberglass weave cloth here in Hyderabad. If you could let me know somewhere in Hyd, it would be great. I am basically from Bangalore though, (ironically from Jayanagar 1st block). Currently a trainee Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

Kindly let me know any bit of info on the same. Thanks for replying, highly appreciated.

Regards,
Romell

P.S. My family n friends think I am PLANE Psyco, so a trip to Bangalore ONLY to purchase fiberglass will prove all the more... :giggle: :giggle:

Suggestion for RC Bazaar, from a friend who visited the store yesterday.

He was looking for an AXN Floater / Bixler / EasyStar / Shikra type of plane.  Since these are probably the best of the trainer designs (especially for people learning to fly without assistance), it would be a welcome addition to the RC Bazaar fleet.

Title: Re: RcBazaar shipping in place
Post by: RcBazaar on October 28, 2011, 04:40:15 AM
Dear All
After 6 months of work we finally have our online shipping module in place... the shipping cost will get calculated automatically now and will also suggest few items which you can buy without having to pay for any shipping... currently we are dealing with Aramex and TNT hence you will get to see only these courier providers charges for the moment. Both courier and surface where ever applicable...
Please note that both these courier like any other courier have limitation of delivery areas and there will be few pincodes where they will not be able to delivery, if any of you encounter this problems pls call us or send us an email to helpdesk@rcbazaar.com and we will get back on which courier company will delivery to you area/s with the corresponding charges.

Finally we have tested this system but if any of you encounter issues / bugs in the system pls let me know by a PM or email me on enquiry@rcbazaar.com and rest assured this will be action immediately.
We thank all the forum members for the support you have given us from the past 4 months and its been a great journey for us and within this short journey we have also made some great new friends and hope to make more in the future.

Regards
Sujju
