Title: RCDhamaka Issue
Post by: pankaj on August 16, 2010, 06:40:40 PM
i don't understand what is the problem with them .... i mean they gave me a burnt motor and took money for a brand new...
i have not checked the motor yet but i m pretty sure that it is burnt ....(copper winding is rusted and colour is dark black)

moreover the length of wires is short(proof that gold connectors have been connected) with respect to my same previous motors ...yesterday i called him 8 times and he was not picking up the phone ...today he picked and asked to me "what is your experience in dealing motors" and then he said we are giving only brand new motors ..so from which hell this motor came to me.

i m final year electrical engineering student of NIT Calicut ,and half of my time goes in dealing with motors.

i m not saying i m a genious but i know atleast if the motor is new or  ****ed up.

****ed up

messed up, burned up (actually burnt up!), balled up, ripped up, fouled up, busted up etc. etc. etc.

Praveen you are right, but I am just trying to play the roles of the Forum Thesaurus and the Devil's Advocate! :giggle:

+1 to VC. Please refrain from 4 letter words. There much younger members than you like Class 9th kids.

As far as RC Dhamaka goes, the online chores are handled by Karthik and Sanjeev sir deal more over phone/walk-in or old customers. I guess Karthik would offline for a while.
Try Sanjeev's cell and I bet you would get you issue resolved.

All the best.

From my personal experience, I would rate them as the best for RC, in India. Knowledgeable, helpful and very straightforward.

There is definitely a communication gap somewhere. Have you tried calling them?

i don't understand what is the problem with them .... i mean they gave me a burnt motor and took money for a brand new...

Please find attached picture of the stock of CF2812 combo and none are used, we DO NOT sell used items at all, our customers are proof of it.

i have not checked the motor yet but i m pretty sure that it is burnt ....(copper winding is rusted and colour is dark black)

If you have not checked the motor how can you be sure it is burn't. You seem to contradict your own statements.

moreover the length of wires is short(proof that gold connectors have been connected) with respect to my same previous motors ...

By whom is a question, as all goods are checked and we do not sell any used goods.

yesterday i called him 8 times and he was not picking up the phone ...today he picked and asked to me "what is your experience in dealing motors" and then he said we are giving only brand new motors ..so from which hell this motor came to me.

Kindly note that you have called on a Sunday so you can't blame us for it, moreover as you will know that 15th August is INDIA'S INDEPENDENCE DAY and a national holiday.

We would like to put it on record of the arrogance and rude behaviour on the phone.

You spoke very rudely first of all and you were not sure who you were, as you called and first gave your name as asif and when we started to cross question as to who had come you said your friend and his name was asif and only then you mentioned your name was pankaj.
When we said that we do not sell used stuff you were arrogant enough to say that you have alot of knowledge on motors and handle motors every day so we should not tell you anything. First and foremost i think you should be taught how to talk. All our customers can vouch for us that we have always been very helpful and very courteous to one and all, end number of students to beginners to senior aeromodellers are our customers and we respect, are helpful and courteous to one and all.
It was you who hung up the phone with very sarcastic bye when i was asking you a valid question and asked you to send the motor back to us to check if the motor was miss used. Just goes to show that if you were right then you would have heard and sent it back for us to verify.

i m final year electrical engineering student of NIT Calicut ,and half of my time goes in dealing with motors.

there you go again.......

i m not saying i m a genious but i know atleast if the motor is new or  ****ed up.
please do not use abusive language.....

Also please note that hence forth kindly do not call or buy from us, as we have blacklisted you from our customer list, will also inform all other to beware of you.

It looks like you have burnt a motor and now want us to give you a new one free..........
you mean your friend is a fool and will take a burnt motor.........please do not fall so low.

I must add that, recently i bought a Sanwa RDS8000 from RCDhamaka and by mistake forgot to specify the mode of the radio because i had thought the default mode to be 2 and no such information was given on their website at that time. The radio which came was mode 1.  However, i immediately called up RCD and informed them about the matter, they were kind enough to convert my radio to mode 2 and send me back without me paying any money. Moreover, after this incident they also added a note on their website which asks the customers to specify their mode. Hats off to them. :salute: :salute:

we do not rob anybody as you can see from this forum and other forums that we have always considered all customers equal, you can see from umpteen posts that we have been helpful and we have set very high customer satisfaction standards which we intend to continue to do and also set a higher bar in the future.

It would be our pleasure if bad apples like you do not come.  {:)}

There you go again, what do you mean all the other guys out here are Bad........... ??? ??? ??? ???

your earlier post or pic that you attached sums it up...........you were scolded for a reason if you recollect, even then we had not misled you in anyway.

You are more than welcome to buy from any where else you want.

Again now you accept that the other customers are better than you.

Fine you started it and now you are ending it, so will not write on this anymore until provoked by you.

I find it hard to believe that RCDhamaka would ruin their reputation by selling a burnt motor knowingly.  It is plain obvious that this would lead to a support call, possible recall and additional shipping charges, which is not worth it on such a low value item.

I do not want to guess what happened in this particular case, I have found them to be a very responsive and responsible store.

Anwar, I think it is time to close this. There is virtual unanimity on RCD's credentials. No point letting this simmer indefinitely.

Yes, in view of the same, I have split this recent discussion out of the main RCD introduction.  It will die down on its own now.

just for information .
for my boat (http://www.rcindia.org/self-designed-diy-and-college-projects/1st-prize(navygator-tathva)-winning-rc-boat/)
i benchtested that motor and that was not working :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: so i had to use another same motor purchased earlier. i am not saying that they knowingly gave me a burnt motor but they should have replaced it   ....or could have atleast talked nicely :P and yes they insisted on not giving any original bill  :headscratch: :headscratch: because electricity was not there ... no offences meant to anyone except RCDHAMAKA  :giggle: :giggle:
