I do not know what went down between the two of you, glad to see it got sorted.

While Devang is correct in asking for Proof of Payment, my PERSONAL OPINION is that "Proof of Payment" should only be a requisite when the buyer wants immediate shipping. In all other normal cases, the seller should get a notification(SMS/e-mail etc.) along with the remitter's name from his/her bank as soon as the funds are credited. (3-5 Hours for NEFT, 3-5 Minutes for IMPS).

Don't take this personally Devang and Co. its also meant for a lot of other LHS as well.

As for the photo Kewal has posted, I do not understand what relevance it has in this post.

You could get your Cell No. Added to the account(If the A/c Holder has no issues), you would constantly get updates from the bank. No netbanking etc. only updates.

N.B: Most banks will gladly add additional mobile numbers for a very very nominal charge.

True but this is only free for SB, for current account if you want notifications then its chargeable. only IMPS notifications is free.

IMO: Proof of payment is only required or should be asked when payment is not received or there are multiple payments of the same amount.
In my case just a notification that payment for --ORDER NUMBER-- is done is enough too.

Different LHS has different requirements, if you select offline mode then you should follow the requirements if LHS has asked you to do so.

@Satya Ji, while i do agree with the above, that notifications are chargeable, i have mentioned the same, My only qualm is the "Proof" Part. Axis bank Charges me INR. 15.00 + Service Tax per quarter for Current and Savings accounts, including Prive.
I do not intend to say asking for proof is wrong, however as you have said only when multiple same amounts, and also when it is not received. Also Rs. 60-70 a Year is not all that bad at all in the first place IMO.

@yash sir,

When you do the payment, on the confirmation screen: you can simply do a copy or screenshot of the screen.

Create a new mail to the LHS, paste if copied the content then paste or else paste the screenshot. Mention the order id in the subject to make life easy for LHS/seller. This is more than enough and should be good for LHS.

Easy? no one has to pay anything extra for this Cheesy

As i had said earlier. It depends on LHS, if its a requirement then one has to follow it.

This was the intend from me to post ( in another thread) a comment on LHS. RCM takes sometime (than other LHS ) to update their site regarding payment, shipment, returns etc. This becomes a problem (and irritating to both) when the buyer is new to the store. Once everything goes smooth and , later on , next purchase ,the customer is ready to wait. ( But that would leave  a bad mark on customers mind. Just my thought....

Sir it was refunded one week back.
Let me clear the situation. I have paid for 2 times for the order no:10006. When i paid first time, it was an Non-active (closed) bank account number, so i got refund saying that "The account is closed". Next time i have paid into correct account number which was mentioned in website. after that i have sent an email with proof of payment. I got an email from RCM saying that the product is out of stock, we will refund your money. But no refund. You could have informed me about "item out of stock" in the very beginning when i paid first time itself, so that i would not do the second payment.
