Hi. I want to buy depron sheets and Vortex RC seems to be preferred here, but their ratings on Amazon are not great https://www.amazon.in/s?k=Vortex-RC. Anyone who has bought from them recently?

I want to buy through Amazon since GST + shipping through their own site is quite expensive.

Buying from its own site cost more than Rs 500 than through Amazon. I'm not spending extra money without good reason.

I have bought depron sheets through their amazon store and they are great. Good packaging and great quality. Only downside was the delivery time which took more than 10 days to arrive. Apart from this minor issue, nothing much to complain about. I have also bought FT Simple Storch and FT Spitfire kits directly from their online store when it was not listed on Amazon. Good experience in both cases so you can go ahead.

Btw, their depron is cheaper than others especially when it comes to affordability.

A few years ago, I bought 3mm depron sheets from the vortex rc website.
And 3mm sheet was nearly 5mm.
I still have a few sheets for building strong areas like power pod.

Recently, I bought 3mm depron from vortex rc through Amazon.
Now, the 3mm Depron sheet is nearly 4mm (not 5mm).
Quality is reduced and the price is also lowered.

Confirm whether the 3mm sheet is 4mm or 5mm.
Try to get exactly or nearly a 5mm one if possible.
I prefer 5mm sheet for Rs.130~140 instead of 4mm sheet of Rs.115

If you don't want shipping damages to your depron sheets then ask them to use more packaging material to save sheets.

By the way, you can also build planes with other foam materials.
Visit the nearest car service center and try to find the foam that comes with the car's bumpers or glasses.
I got a few foams(EPP foam) from the nearest car service center's dustbin area for free.

we uses coro sheets to enclosed to the depron sheets for packaging and surely you will get your parcel delivered within time at affordable prices.

Just an update. I bought a pack of 10 3mm depron sheets from FLYINGMACHINES.IN (@digitalmarketing here?) and few other things, and I had a pretty bad experience. The sheets weren't padded at all and the ones on outside were damaged. Also a landing gear worth 300 something was missing as well.
