I was just going to order a redcar racing earthquake 3.5 from www.20north.com ,when i proceeded for check out it totaled my ammount and also included the cost for customs with the shipment.......... :headscratch:
i just wanted to know that do i need to pay customs again when i recieve the package..... ???

also if the truck named above locally available in india ?  8-) :-\

Though few people claim they got their item at their door without customs (local shipping)I would advise you to keep away from www.20north.com as there are not many positive review of them:

- Rest looks phony posts by the 20north people themselves.
- If you are thinking service any thing near to LHS, forget it. R/C LHS concentrate on importing R/C only items and send you from their ware house, giving after sale support. 20north just try  to offer Everything on Net. I also suspect their import channel due to Indeterminate delays reported by people.

Apart from that I doubt many flyers here on the forum have ordered from them.

Please try to see if you can find same from trusted LHS listed in the forum (http://www.rcindia.org/rc-outlets-and-resellers/mega-list-of-all-rc-outlets-in-india/).  You may even call LHS who sell somewhat similar model (same manufacturer ) to see if they can get one on order. Reputed R/C LHS like RCDhamaka, RcForAll, Indian Hobbies, Rotor etc can get you saved from any customs hassle and ship you from local courier channel.

I got my truck from www.20north.com ,its an earthquake 3.5 with 2 ch 2.4ghz Tx Rx.

talking about 20north it delayed my package from 30 days (as said at time of payment) to 35 days.....but was in perfect condition when recieved,with no damage and all customs cleared.also this can be a result of proper contact and time to time enquiry about my product so will rate 20north as positive  seller but a bit careless or in other words lazy.still a good seller.

Glad to see another source for 'Phorin' stuff in India. Could you put down the price you paid item + customs + shipping. The range of item they offer even  beat Amazon by a mile. Surely they just 'route' the item through their own channel. Did you get a genuine invoice  from 20North of Custom docs ?

I am still skeptical to order the trekking gear they have in the listing (just everything you want!!)...

yes I got an invoice and bill (genuine) from 20north.

for the truck i had three bodies  i ordered the one which was quoted the lowest (the red one ) for rs 12000+4500of customs+1600 for shipping the total costed me 18100.but i recieved the truck with black body as you can see in the pics .....it was the one quoted highest.

Why is the difference from buying thru tower hobbies? You are anyway getting charged customs. Tower has some discounts at times. I got a HPI savage off tower at 26K in India with customs. I had a 100$ discount coupon
