Well iam Raj Jaiswal from Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh , and as the heading says i just fulfilled the dream of two generations of my family .
I'll like to take you back in time and would like to tell you guy's about my RC journey.
It was sometime in early 1980's that my Tau Mr Venu Jaiswal was out driving his new car when he heard a very unfamiliar sound , a sound that he had never heard before so like any curious person he stopped and got out of his car and looked up in the sky where the sound was coming from what he saw made him fall in love then and there . He saw a man (Col Nair) flying an small airplane via remote control he was totally taken back he had never seen such a thing in his life . He turned his car and rushed to pick my father up who was  18 at that time to save time he changed his car and got on his bullet with my father on the pillion , they reached on time as Mr Nair was just packing up and was about to leave they talked to him for a brief amount of time to get to know about the airplane . After two or three days My tau and my father were sitting in his home when Mr Nair told them where to get the equipments from (sharma aero works) and some kit supplier in Chennai they sent two men out to get the necessary equipments which they got after a month of waiting . Getting the equipments was one thing finding the time to make use of them and fly them was different , since my family was and still is in liquor and mining business finding time for hobbies was a tad difficult the engine and the airframe kept laying in a corner for years to come .
My elder brother was bitten by thus bug to when my father told him about this hobby and introduced him to Col Nair it was in the late 1990's that this hobby was again brought to life this time around by my elder brother . Him , Col Nayer and my father ordered kits , engines , building equipments , radios , servos and every thing possible from towerhobbies the bill ran in couple of lakhs . In a matter of month every thing came in . My brother started learning to fly from a control line airplane under Col Nayer guidance he was doing real good , once he had mastered control line they started building his sig kadet senior but as destiny had in store my father called my elder brother into the family business . The business had grown tremendously spreading across the whole state any amount of working hands felt short and as it was every thing was swiped umder the rug till the year 2004
In the year 2004 i was i was 12 years old and already loved the hobby i had many magazines which i use to read with a keen interest seeing this my father once again got in contact with Mr Nair who told him about a RC store in mumbai which had everything available we took a flight from Nagpur to Mumbai the very next week . We ordered a .40 trainer with a OS .46 AX engine a Brand new Futaba 6ch radio and new servos the hobby owner suggested my father to higher a trainer for me and hence gave him the number of Mr Pinto within a week he had checked in , in our hotel he trained me for a week , and i did learn a bit and i decided to take the plane and fly but as it was i crashed it . Again a stop , this thing again went inside a back burner till the year 2014.
It was the month of April me and Dad had returned from our office and were having our lunch it was like any usual day we had our lunch and Dad went for a Nap while i had to complete a pending file i was not able to keep a track of time until i heard my father calling for me i went outside and saw him looking up in the sky and that is when i heard the sound of the good old nitro engine running a gentlemen was flying his RC plane in a ground front of my bunglow we got in out car and rushed to meet him and this is when i meet Col AM Sharma a guy with a great personality he got his plane down an we invited him for a cup of tea he told me to get a sim and practice on it and so i did for a month he told me which aircraft to buy (sky surfer and nextstar) which radio to buy (Futaba 10J) after every thing was bought and i had a good number of hours on the sim he took me out on a sunday to fly for the first time my father looked in with great pride as i flew it (well what ever little i could) since then it has been a good learning curve for me i can easily fly now with great confidence and hope to keep on flying and taking out time for this hobby

Well my first was Mills .75 CC which used for my "Y Bar" free flight model and lost it as the model just flew out of my running range....  That's how I decided to start running... and ended up doing about 10 Kms a day by the end of 56 months.  I was 17 years then.... RC flying was something which many of us heard of in those days.
Logged

Well I been into aeromodelling since I was in School....  had won the "WINGS Open" at "Bombay" (as it was known then) in 1985 for control line aerobatics (was doing my graduation at that time) and had received a big gold trophy....  Mr Bhivandiwala organised it and gave good awards.
Our team had won the following medals:-
1.   Gold for Control Line Aerobatics
2.   Silver and Bronze for Control line speed
3.   Bronze for Free Flight Glider
Sharma Models helped us train to win the medals

Im dreaming for one such glider in nitro or diesel perhaps.(My diesel calculation show that nitro fuel is much cheaper than diesel!!!)
something slow, forgiving, makes only yaw and no rolls, little less powerful, 3 channel only, lot of noise, and of course no electrics!!.
Im copying raven drone in corro and already have 3 models in corro awaiting power system. is this available in kit or ARF form?
