Look at the turn of events...This is from Gp Capt Ramesh Tahlan

.. thank u for that pic of SU-7... there... u said it and i put up my log book entry of the Tail No of the beast fighter.. that date of 14 is Jul 1983,,, and it was my very first sortie on that fighter with that tail number.. it was and Air Test Sor... after that date sat in that cockpit many times... those were awesome days.... many thanks to u

1983 was a fantastic year for me as a youngster...I was a small Flt Lt,,, i did a White Instrument Rating Renewal with someone called Ghuman. After the sortie he said what the fuck r u doing with a White Rating.. u r fit for green.. so he annotated on my IR Card "Awarded White Recommended GREEN "cause i actually did not have the hours for a Green Rating.. so in two months as soon as i got my hours to qualify, i automatically became Green Rated without flying again for the Test.... as a youngster there no thrill that to get a comment like that... my year was made.... in the same month i was cleared to lead a 2 aircraft formation into combat...

Yeah  he flew that aeroplane, standing in the square in the pic above

Sweet! The trim scheme and the yellow is simple yet appealing.

I am wondering how would be to use the tiled pathway as a runway strip; there'd be a protest not just curses..Cheesy

Fly Low, Fly 3D, Fly often

Every time I help someone at my field with their trainers or similar plane and after a trim flight they usually ask, "can you hover it and make it 3D"? Smiley So do you 3D your trainer? LOL

You have piles and piles of planes. We have some similar tastes when it comes to 3D planes.... the common ones are the PA planes. Smiley

Favorite is the Extra MX.

You are a true PA addict.  Clap

I had them all at some point, got rid of many to fund some giant scales. They all served me very well. The only one left is the Addiction X.

One of my favourite (second to only AJ Slick) is PA ADDY X. I reversed the ailerons (Put port one on the stbd and vice versa) so that PA is seen on the reverse hover too)

Oh so we have one other airframe in common too.... the AJ Slicks. I had them all upto 71" Slick. Here is my 71" Slick (electric) in some close action.

The ailerons that you see belongs to the opposite wings, Precision Aerobatics Sticker, therefore is visible at the bottom portion of the wing

Okay got that. I think you did that because the decals are factory installed... otherwise you could have simply put the decals where you wanted, right? Smiley

My 3D plans have more grass and dirt on the rudder and tail wheel than the main wheels.... some of the smaller plane's main wheels have not seen the ground.... I hand launch and hover catch them. LOL
