What mode do you fly ?

I haven't found trainer cable to be a good way to train heli fliers. You should invest in a simulator and training gears. If you have previous experience or if you are disciplined and spent sufficient time on sim, you might be able to do away with training gears. It is important to get your heli set up and trimmed by an experienced flier first. Do not attempt to fly before this is done, or you are sure to destroy the heli.

I am aware of the training gear and am getting it very soon. Also I spend about an hour and a half on sim everyday. Also I need to get it set up (pitch gauge etc)

You are on the right track there. Make sure you select a small electric model like yours in the sim. The smaller electric helis need a lot of small inputs to keep it in one place compared to bigger helis.

Also I need to get it set up (pitch gauge etc)

Sorry, can't help you with this. I do not have pitch gauge suitable for small helis.

Forgot to mention. You should have goals when practicing on sim or you will just get bored and won't get anywhere. For a newbie first goal would be to get the heli to hover consistently in tail in attitude within a 1 foot square and keep the altitude fairly stable. You should be able to do this for at least a minute continuously. If you are using real flight there is a good hover training mode in it. If not, you could still probably follow a similar routine in your sim. You should pick a spot, hover stable over that spot for 1 min, then pick a new spot, move over there and hover for 1 min. Do this for at least 5 spots continuously.

Also you should be able to fly it without crashing or landing for atleast 10min.

After this I'd say you are ready to try hovering on the real thing.

Actually I am getting a walkera 22e which is fairly big (about the size of a hbcp)
Is the pitch gauge still too small?

22e is a small heli. The one I have is meant for nitro helis. It is too heavy for a small electric.
