Welcome Gurbir!

If you handle this purchase correctly, you should not have to pay any customs duty. Just ask them to name it "Computer Software" in the Invoice. That is exempt from Duty. Do remember though, that there is nothing 100% sure with Indian Customs  ;)

It would be good to be a member of a club. Check in the forum using the search facilities for other members from C'garh. There is supposed to be a sort of Parent Body, AIMA, visit www.aima.in (http://) and you should get some details and find other flyers and clubs in your region, though recent reports (rumoured, unproven) say AIMA is going through a bit of a hiccup.

AIMA has in the past organized some wonderful All India Aeromodelling meets at Pinjore Flying Club

Mr Sanjay I had sent my application form duly filled and the money deposited into amai's axis bank account on 19/08/2013 neither I have received my membership nor have they replied to my queries, I used to fly at patiala civil aviation club with Mr Inderjeet Singh Sidhu (Bobby Sidhu) as my trainer, he is also a famous gunsmith, they have a club by the name of PAS (patiala aeromodellers society) so our club president Mr Shivraj Singh Ghuman had asked me to send the form duly filled to amai office but still I haven't got my membership
