I'm Dominique. Of German origin I live in Bangalore since almost two years and I intend to stay some more time

I stumbled over RC helicopters last weekend and was surprised how cheap they have become (my dad hand-built two RC planes when I was fourteen or so and I remember that was an awfully expensive affair). So far I only own a 3 channel "toy" helicopter but I intend to change that since the three channels are hardly satisfying.
Currently I'm doing a lot of online research about which brands are there and which of them are available here in India. I'd also love to meet heli enthusiasts from Bangalore to pick your brain.
I'm afraid you'll get a lot of newby questions from me in the next couple of weeks - provided that the forum search doesn't have an answer already of course.
