Small Advice .... if you are planning to use Quad at public places while on travel then clear "NO".

But if you want to use it as a hobby and at the flying field( secluded place away from city) only then go ahead.... do search in this forum for do's and dont's.

Thanks for that info.

Actually I m travelling to Leh / Ladakh in August, but decided NOT to bring the quadcopter this time. Need to work on my flying skills first, and check out ways to transport it on the bullet. Also havent found a definite answer yet on international travels with LiPo's... too many question marks and no time to sort them out....

Next time round...

keeping an eye open for himalaya traveller with Copters to get some first hand experience...

cheers Smiley

Hi Thorus,
Welcome to the forum. If you are planning to visit Leh or any part of Kashmir, then its a strict 'NO' to your multirotor. Do not even think of carrying it there! Its currently the most high alert region of the country and the security is very very tight. I have been to Leh /ladakh last month and know the situation very well! So come visit the place, it is an awesome place, but do not even think of carrying your quad there! Smiley

wow thanks,

I should have asked this questions a long time ago, would have saved me lots of headache. Now i know Smiley

I hope the Leh-situation will change sometime in the near future. Are other moutain regions ok? Kuala-valley, Sainj, and Uttarakhand?

thanks a lot....

Cant believe my luck! Could have lost the Quad altogether by hair's width....

Strange though, as i did some research on legality and import, and nothing of this sort was mentioned.... seems to fairly recent changes.

Thanks for saving my butt guys! and my Copter! you guys rock!!!
