Title: Knock-Knock I'm here :)
Post by: Power_user_EX on May 18, 2012, 01:38:30 PM
Hi all , really nice to see we have soo many RC enthusiasts in India too :D

I m Umang(aka Power_user_EX) from Navi Mumbai and a Moderator at www.ocfreaks.com. I m into Computer Overclocking , Gaming , Robotics , Embedded and Now into RC as well ;)

New to RC (sort of) and atm trying to figure out how Rx-Tx works in RC world.

-Regards

Power.. welcome to RC India.. is a great place of RCying.. in great detail.. your querry is already discussed in detail here lots of time.. please go to the RC INDIA GEMS, at Welcome page, and please spend a little time there as you can see lots and lots of useful tips, guidances, and ideas from there.. nice to hear about one more RCyer.. have nice RCying..  :hatsoff:

but still a little detail.. the radio control set here in RC world is a device, in pair as TX  (the Transmitter)  and RX ( the Receiver), while the Tx holds in our hand, and the Rx placed in the craft that to be controlled.. an Encoder integrated circuit generates and integrates a pulse signals mostly based from 1 to 2 m/s, as 1.5 m/s as the neutral point, and this encoded signal feded to an radio transmitter circuit that emits the modulated signal to the air via an appropriate antenna.. this may be in to MHz or Ghz, is all up to the radio.. this also goes in to AM ( amplitudemodulation) and FM (frequency modulation)..

the modulated signal is accepted by the RX, and decodes, and converts in to the signal that dives the servos again..
the servos are an electromechanical device which interprets the electric signal, pulses, from 1, 1.5, to 2, as mechanical movements.. this drives the servo arm, is all up to the proportions of TX stick.. in degrees.. thus we controls the machine in a wireless mode.. it is hard to explian the phenomena of radio, within a short span.. so go for some nice reardings and some self researches.. have nice Rcying again..

latest arrangement in RC radio of the usage of 2.4 Ghz tecnology, one stands out from most of the SAW and other disturbances.. this arrangement is known as Spread Spectrum technology, is not a modern innovation, but old up to WW2, but adopted now liberally.. in this form an unique code is transmitted to lock each other, instead of a conventional radio waves.. this elimitaes crystals, to determine frequency, and elimitaes servo glitching generated by radio disturbances..
