Title: RCIndia pilgrimage
Post by: rcpilotacro on December 07, 2012, 03:20:10 PM
This thread is dedicated to RCI members meeting up with each other and sharing their experience. Remember, outside this forum some people (Like sandy Jain, Mr Nagar Tahlan sir and many others) are meeting WPC officials and trying to get a absolute legal standing (Without any shades of grey) for this hobby. Our networking will serve towards this common goal of promoting this hobby. Network, we must, and share your networking experience, so that we know the clusters of friends, if ever we have to come together as one for the hobby.

But someone deleted some pic. like "Question : How much LiPO is essental for field ?"
Deleted on September 12, 2012, 11:28:24 AM of post of " June 03, 2011, 06:30:26 AM" :(

Do I have to say "Oh GOD What I had done" as it is observed just now and can not go beyond time and say the phrase now ? A PM may solve this earlier. However, the picture was really good, and will be missed by late joiner of this forum. I pray that the recognition should come as early as possible from wpc.

Caught up with Ujjwanna, Shadman, Adarsh bond, akshay, karthik and Sanjeev of rcdhamaka. Ujjwana kindly looked after me, thanks johny, sanjeev and karthik allowed me to their club Bowring institute, thanks guys, It was great to fly with Shadman, had the opportunity to fly his MXSR 50 cc. Flew most 3 d manoeuvres. Best compliment was 'Where has this balloon come from', in a hover (though it is prelude to a Mano and not a Mano in itself). Thanks Shadman for letting me fly your beauty( I know I gave you some heart in mouth, sorry for that) pics to follow.

Indore
Nearly Fag end of my pilgrimage, (only Delhi left now though met up with some of them). Met up with FlyingDoc (Vikas), Iyer sir & Ma'am, Harveer, Aaron, Salim Bhai, Harveer's elder bro, soni, and some more avid modellors who are not on the forum.

Wonderful place to fly from, After couple of flights we have tea made by Mrs Iyer and sometimes something to eat. First day we caught up was at Iyer Sir's son's wedding(see pic), nice place to catch up. subsequently at the field where i flew my huge sky surfer and couple of other models of Mr Iyer, Mrs Iyer and Iyer sir flew my well trimmed model and had a blast.

Here are some pics

This is one great shot, Harveer on inverted Harrier and me tailchasing him on Sky surfer, My aeroplane was buffeting in his prop wash, we were so close

Title: Re: RCIndia pilgrimage
Post by: VC on March 03, 2014, 12:52:25 AM
For the benefit of the uninitiated, the 'Inverted Harrier' is NOT related to a Harrier GR.1 / GR.3 or AV-8A/C/S Harrier flying inverted. Don't bother searching for it in the photograph posted in the earlier post.

It is an aerobatic manoeuvre where an aircraft executes a very slow inverted forward flight motion with the nose high at about 45 degrees of attitude.

Watch the video here:

http://www.modelairplanenews.com/blog/2013/06/05/advanced-aerobatics-the-inverted-harrier/ (http://www.modelairplanenews.com/blog/2013/06/05/advanced-aerobatics-the-inverted-harrier/)

Hope this helps.

1. Watta shot Gusty!

2. That lady has class - no wonder Iyer Sahab is so proud of her. :hatsoff:

Respect and Regards to all concerned.

People have started abusing/misusing URL shortening services.  Plus knowing where clicking something will lead me to is needed these days in terms of security.

Please use the URL (or IMG) tag for posting long URLs, as described in this post.
