Title: Vikas from Bangalore/Delhi Post by: findvikas on October 24, 2010, 02:36:56 PM Hello Fellas,
I am Vikas and staying in Bangalore for past 5 years, originally from Delhi. By profession, I am Software Engineer and working for Microsoft. If I were not into Software I would rather be flying real planes... or a better way of saying this... just because I could not become a pilot I am into RC :) This is me, sitting relaxed at some resort in the outskirts of Bangalore (http://i53.tinypic.com/124ac87.jpg) I am very new to RC Flying and below is my Hangar. (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/1.jpg) (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/2.jpg) Dragonfly 2CH (Wingspan: 610mm) - Please do not buy this, it is rather a toy and my brother gifted it me so its with me :) (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/3.jpg) Scratch build - P51 Mustang, capable of 4CH but waiting for ESC to arrive to fit the electronics... going to install AR6100E RX (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/4.jpg) Scratch build - PiperJ, - finished today and tested for balance.. glides very well. It will be again a 4CH model... probably going to install AR6300 on it (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/5.jpg) Parkzone PiperJ Cub Ultra Micro - Bought from HobbyTown USA, comes with 4CH Spektrum compatible Radio and 3CH micro RX with inbuild micro servos. Upgraded for bigger prop and more powerfull motor (inrunner) (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/6.jpg) This is tiny model build to sit in my showcase, another PiperJ. I know I am crazy for this plane... its awesome:) Although its small but has a perfect balance and can glide well. (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/7.jpg) SH6020 3CH Metal Mini Heli with inbuild gyro... very stable and durable, with only 1 drawback... the T blade holder is very delicate... waiting for the replacement part to arrive and this will be in the air again. (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/8.jpg) Scratch build, paper plane with KF Airfoil... this tiny model is inspired from B2 Stealth but introduced my own modifications so I gave it my name... SpyEyes :) KR Airfoil really made the difference and it can go as high as 2nd floor if push hard enough and then glide back safely :) (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/9.jpg) KF Airfoil - KFM1 (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/10.jpg) WWII Hero - Japanese Zero :) (http://www.vikasverma.com/rc/hangar/11.jpg) Some balsa wood model, gifted by my brother..
