Title: Vikas from Bangalore/Delhi
Post by: findvikas on October 24, 2010, 02:36:56 PM
Hello Fellas,

I am Vikas and staying in Bangalore for past 5 years, originally from Delhi.  By profession, I am Software Engineer and working for Microsoft. If I were not into Software I would rather be flying real planes... or a better way of saying this... just because I could not become a pilot I am into RC :)

This is me, sitting relaxed at some resort in the outskirts of Bangalore

I am very new to RC Flying and below is my Hangar.

Dragonfly 2CH (Wingspan: 610mm) - Please do not buy this, it is rather a toy and my brother gifted it me so its with me :)

Scratch build - P51 Mustang, capable of 4CH but waiting for ESC to arrive to fit the electronics... going to install AR6100E RX

Scratch build - PiperJ,  - finished today and tested for balance.. glides very well. It will be again a 4CH model... probably going to install AR6300 on it

Parkzone PiperJ Cub Ultra Micro - Bought from HobbyTown USA, comes with 4CH Spektrum compatible Radio and 3CH micro RX with inbuild micro servos. Upgraded for bigger prop and more powerfull motor (inrunner)

This is tiny model build to sit in my showcase, another PiperJ. I know I am crazy for this plane... its awesome:) Although its small but has a perfect balance and can glide well.

SH6020 3CH Metal Mini Heli with inbuild gyro... very stable and durable, with only 1 drawback... the T blade holder is very delicate... waiting for the replacement part to arrive and this will be in the air again.

Scratch build, paper plane with KF Airfoil... this tiny model is inspired from B2 Stealth but introduced my own modifications so I gave it my name... SpyEyes :) KR Airfoil really made the difference and it can go as high as 2nd floor if push hard enough and then glide back safely :)
