Hi all RCI'ns ,

First thanks to Mr. Anwar for such fantastic site/ platform provided for RC lovers all over the India.  Salute

I was looking for RCs for many days on Internet but didn't get any good help from India. This looks like good direction to start with.

Just today I have joined RC India and feeling really good to find this great group.

As I mentioned earlier  in subject I'm Vinayak from Pune , beginner  in RC.

I have made one RC helicopter from two scraped RC helis. (got these from one toy shop)

Basically I combined good parts of two helis to build one good flying helicopter. Grin

Created one battery pack by combining 6 x 1.2 v AAA battery for 7.2 volt, and used directly car's battery (with 12 v regulator) for a remote.

the first flight was not so great but fun to see:

I hope this is just beginning of my RC hobby and there are lot more things to do...

Just wanted to know is community P-A-A is active so that I can visit Gliding center this week-end ? I know this place already and also had a glider ride.

Looking forward for more rc help to build good planes

Thanks,
-Vinayak.

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Good "flying" helicopter Smiley

In the video it seemed to behave as if there was no gyro/tail stabilization at all.   In any case, what you are trying to do is appreciated whole heartedly Thumbs Up

And welcome to RC India Smiley

ohh.. wow ..

So lucky to get first reply from you sir.. Thanks.

yes you are right.. the tail is replaced with another helicopters tail as original was not working at all. Need to do some more R&D on it.

I will get in touch with PAA guys by this week end , by the number you posted.

will keep posting my questions but would like to go through all beginners thread as it may solve my initial problems.

Thanks,
-Vinayak
