Hello all,
Congrats to all the 4 winners of the RCHobbyAddict's Quad rotor. Please note that you will be getting a non painted version. So there will be carbon deposit on the sides of the parts, it may dirty your clothes.
Now comming back to the product. This product can be used as a QuadCopter and also as Xcopter. The difference between the two is the leading edge. See the following pictures for the difference:

Please handle the frame very carefully and assemble it with utmost care because the parts individually are fragile but when put together in the frame make become very strong.
The video may not be clear. So if you do not understand any of the part in the video, please feel free to ask. Basically I made this video to clear out that which part goes where, so that when the customer gets the kit, he/she is not confused after seeing so many parts to put together.
The frame is modified after the release also to incorporate a training gear of a 450 Size heli. So if you land your quad, you do not damage the frame. I suggest people to attach a training gear in place of sticking any foam here and there.
Soon I will be releasing combos for the frame. Here is a list of motors that can be used with the frame:
1) hacker Style Brushless Outrunner 20-28M

Now the big question commes that which controller board to use. You can use any controller board, and arduino based, KKMulticopter, MultiWiicopter, anything.
We will be launching a KKMulticopter Board soon at very cheap prices. Keep following us to know more.
If you use an Arduino based controller board, you can put addons like GPS, and other funky stuff, but it adds on to the cost. If you are a professional and have good knowledge about quads, then you should go in for Arduino based.
To begin with, you can go in for a cheap board, like the KKMultiCopter. The best part of KK board is that you can use the same board with a Tri, Quad, X, hex, Oct, without even changing one part of the board. Just plug in your programmer onto the circuit and load the software of the Model you are building and that is it. In Tri, the Motor 4 is replaced by Servo.Thank You
