Yeah, this stepper motors have limited area to plot but I wonder how well and precise they draw. here some more trials taken today.

I did build the same project last year but i was thinking to move a bit up by building a little bigger version of the same, but i am not getting the right configuration like the stepper motors and the size of screws that can be used, of you ate building something like this then please do share the configuration details. Although your build looks more better than mine. Nice job. Regards.

I saw many YouTube videos before building this one. I just wanted not to use hot glue gun too much. I will sure post detailed video of making this build as there are many things I learned from this build.

I actually found the mounting of servo very difficult. the pressure of the pen was either too much coz of that it was damaging paper or too low. It took a lot of time for me to figure out right combination.

yes  i did the same. and it was good as well. Now i am thinking to build an  engraver but not using cd drives.  a kind of desktop plotter with real functions.

Hello Dharmik, thanks for the suggestion. this motor is cheap damn as well. and I guess this can be interfaced with H-Bridge driver as well. But what about the screw and coupling, which one I should use. screw is not the only problem we also ve to use the supporting rod along with the screw. And also abs mount Sad
