Title: ESC Conversion; Brushless to Brushed
Post by: Voice of deaf on September 13, 2018, 02:58:13 AM
Hi,
While surfing around, I found something useful. There is a guyhttps://www.instagram.com/arnabdasbwn (https://www.instagram.com/arnabdasbwn) who makes stuff and I somehow stumbled upon his bloghttp://www.arnabkumardas.com (http://www.arnabkumardas.com)     and found out a possible solution to the Brushed ESC requirement.

http://www.arnabkumardas.com/blog/diy-project/3-phase-rectifier-for-esc (http://www.arnabkumardas.com/blog/diy-project/3-phase-rectifier-for-esc)   is his web address of that post.

I sincerely hope this will solve the many people's requirement of a brushed ESC to an extent, (including my own ;))
I do not take responsibility for any blown ESC, as neither the design nor the Blog is mine. Though I recommend trying it  ;)

Regards :hatsoff:

It makes a lot of sense!
I was going to get brushed esc's for my Mars Rover but i will give this a try with an old ESC first.
I do have some doubts though....
Thanks for sharing.

Totally interested (guess others too are) in your Mars Rover 🎮🕹. (think i heard that somewhere on HobbyKing's Brushed ESC's Reviews where a guy drove 3 motors with one ESC on each side of his rover.

And so post your doubts, I if not somebody else will surely on it.
👍

This is a roundabout solution .

If you want to convert a brushless esc to brushed then reprogram the micro controller

Easy and simple

I have tried it and it works 100 %
