I have understood that this autopilot can guide the plane in laterally along defined GPS points but
What about vertical path? Is it defined along with the GPS points.
Does it control even the motor/engine to manage the total thrust?
Does it provides any evelope protection in terms of load factor or high speed?
After having worked on the simulation of auto flight systems (A380/A400M), I just got these questions.
