Title: Handlaunch/catapult biofoam-glider Post by: B.karthik on August 02, 2009, 08:14:52 PM hi friends this time i have made a glider of my own design.i made a prototype model similar to the model here with the chord increased further and tested it and flew very well when handlaunched in my home and hence i decided to make that fully.i flew it in my home but not yet in ground and flew good.

Sai Title: Re: Handlaunch/catapult biofoam-glider Post by: B.karthik on August 03, 2009, 06:41:50 PM it was a disaster.i went today to my ground and testflight it.it was flying longer distances with less power from catapult.but after reaching maximum distance it suddenly nose dives and the fuselage broke at nose,foam wing got broken at wing-fuselage joint.
i dont know what could be the problem for nosedive but the wind was perfect calm.
