Title: Home made Prop Balancer
Post by: atulrajguru9 on December 25, 2012, 03:56:55 PM
Hi friends,

Here is how you can create your own prop balancer.

What you will need?
1.   Prop Saver
2.   O Ring
3.   3 mm Metal or CF rod
4.   Sanding paper
5.   Any 2 parallel surfaces that will allow prop to rotate freely (I used top drawer of my shoe rack)

How to do it?

1.   Cut the Metal or CF rod as per your need. I cut my CF rod @ 3 cm

2.   Make sure rod is streight by rolling it over glass top

3.   Mount prop sever at center of rod and fix it by tighting the screw

4.   Then mount the prop on prop server

5.   Place the ends on rod on parallel surface as shown in picture

6.   Let the prop rotate freely. When any side goes down interchange the rod ends and make sure it shows same side  as heavy again.

7.   Apply sanding on heaver side of prop till it balance at center

Hope that it will help you.

Regards,
Atul
